Freeman is athletic but inaccurate. Keenum is accurate but less athletic. I know which I'd rather have.

I hope Justice Cunningham is cut. Didn't like him from what I saw.

If he makes the 53-man roster, it will be because of his TE-inline blocking and special teams play. Most people have only noticed his inconsistent hands. I don't think they will be throwing the ball to him unless Lance Kendricks goes down. Bayer has a lot of work to do to catch up with Cunningham as far as being a blocker.

I'm not really a fan, and I'm not all that enthused about reports of his shoddy work ethic and his problems with ball security. You don't think there's a problem with someone who can't beat out Curtis Painter? Clearly GMs and coaches talk to each other, and I'm sure the input extends to trainers and assistants as well. Something has happened to that dude, and it ain't good.

Wasn't impressed with his blocking, either, from what I saw.

Freeman also comes in late to every meeting, is the first one out the door, doesn't watch any extra film than he has to, just a lazy guy when it comes to work. When you also consider the fact that he has tons of issues with mechanics, accuracy, learning playbooks, and he's also rumored to have been a frequent user of crack cocaine and alcohol, goes out to nightclubs all the time, etc. He's just not worth the trouble. He's not even a good QB, but his laziness and lifestyle doesn't help his case at all.

I like the move, I personally think he's got some serious potential, I've seen him in a few games and of what I've seen he did some good things, I don't think he'd do a bad job if he took to the field as a Ram. I'm a little less concerned now than when we just had Hill and Davis as our QBs for the season. I think he's a good upgrade on Clemens, will be good to see Davis and Keenum fight for that backup spot, at the moment I think Davis (with his understanding of the playbook) has it, but Keenum does have game time experience, which also counts...

Wasn't even that impressed with him as a blocker. He didn't stand out at all and was beat quite a few times from what I remember seeing.

Ask yourself why then teams like Oakland, Houston, Buffalo, the Jets, Cleveland, Tennessee, as well as us aren't giving him a call. There's a reason for it.

So Johnson who's past his prime and and a rookie in Hopkins.

He wasn't throwing to Bruce and Holt there.

Silly. C'mon, man. You're deriding Andre to pump up Keenum? Don't be foolish. Johnson is getting older and may be past his "prime" years, but he's still unquestionably one of the best WRs out there.. He had a meh 1st year starter and a deteriorating Schaub and Foster-less for half the season finished with 1400 yards (7th), 109 receptions (3rd), 69 1st downs (tied 2nd).

Bradford certainly never had that kind of talent on offense. And add in Hopkins who hauled in 800 yards as a rook.

Here's an article about how Case Keenum wasn't given a chance with the Texans this past offseason

http://houston.culturemap.com/news/...a-real-chance-before-ryan-mallett-panic-move/
Mallett got beaten out by Patriots rookie quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo this preseason. Keenum didn't get beaten out by anyone on the Texans. He simply never was given a chance one way or the other.

Consider that Keenum found himself relegated to second string by O'Brien before the preseason ever began despite the potential he flashed starting for a battered, beaten down team that had given up last season. Keenum never received a single opportunity to play with the starters the entire preseason. He didn't even get to play in the first half of a game until the meaningless preseason finale.

There are casino games less stacked in the house's favor than this.

O'Brien clearly simply wanted to bring in his own guys.

What Minnesota did to Freeman was criminal.

I'm okay with Keenum. He's played in the NFL and had some success.

As far as the Freeman debate; dude is a total douchbag. I don't even want him to visit the Arch.

He's still good but he's not the game changer he once was. Besides, he doesn't come close to those numbers without Keenum throwing him the ball later in the year. If I remember correctly he broke 200 in one of the games Keenum was hurling the rock.

I wouldn't complain if those two were our starting receivers, but they're not an elite combo, IMO.

Obviously his face didn't fit. The guy has potential, and we all know that Fisher is good at realising players potential.

Isn't there a janitor position free now that Mo Alexander has been drafted??

Well i'll take a shot.
Oakland has Shaub and just drafted Derek Carr(2nd rd)
Houston has Fitzpatrick and just drafted Tom Savage(4th rd)
Buffalo has EJ Manuel and just added Kyle Orton
The Jets have Geno Smith and Mike Vick
Cleveland has Brian Hoyer and just drafted Manziel(1st rd)
Tennessee could have taken a look at him i suppose, although they drafted Mettenberger in the 6th rd and haven't given up on Jake Locker yet.
