I think I'm becoming more and more interested in Mark Gronowski (Iowa) as a late-round developmental QB. Played in a running system in South Dakota State, was mostly used for his legs at Iowa, but he can really throw with accuracy and touch. He's a bigger QB (6'3", 230 lbs.) as well.
One thing I really want in a younger QB is mobility. I just think having the option to make plays with your feet while you're figuring it all out is a good thing to have.

Klubnik feels like the guy I'd take.
I like the physical traits and experience. He seems like a guy you draft and develop.
I'm not sure how late he'd go. In a draft this shallow in QBs.. who knows?
Funny how the most active Clemson fan on the board is the one who wants him the least.

I've only watched him play Oregon this year, and he raised my eyebrows a few times during that game.
So ....... maybe ? ........ real late?

I mean, I'm watching him at the East/West Shrine Bowl, and he's one of the best quarterbacks there. And Kaden Wetjen (Iowa) looks like one of the best receivers there on both teams; no cornerback has been able to cover him. He's had concentration drops, but I think he could upgrade our return game. I wouldn't mind taking Wetjen and/or Gronowski with a fifth or sixth.

Yeah if they take him it'll be kind of funny due to that.

Most of these 6'1" types are likely to be depth QBs at best. But maybe there's an outlier among them, and being drafted by LA is something that increases their chances. So no matter which one they pick there's gonna be questions around him, holes in his game, etc.

I still like Nussmeier fwiw.
He is definitely smaller framed which I don't like. But I think he might be the dude they target because LSU was a massive clusterfuck this season. Some of it was the QB not playing well, certainly, but to some extent I think as a draft pick he's a guy who you can get more talent for your pick value than a guy like Simpson who everyone keeps saying is going to go high.

When it comes to the QB position, taking a lesser player because of "pick value", doesn't help you win games. Give me the better player period.
