Big win. I had my doubts , since no one ever seems to miss a FG against us.

What, when did he get his 2nd catch, deep in the 3rd quarter ? Almost desperation time.
I was yelling at the TV, Puka has only one catch for a lot of the game.
What I am saying is he should have gotten more targets in the first half in 11 and that game might not have been so close at the end.
We should have won comfortably.
Taking Puka and Devonte out of chunk plays in the middle of the field playing around with 13 is not the best move IMO.
I think it might take McVay a bit to dial in when and where to use his new 13 toy. Although it would have been great to see Terrance run past some fool LB for a big play. Me likes that !
Puka is CLUTCH on 3rd down and we were terrible at it for 2/3 rds of the game. He is a 1st down machine.
I don't want him getting 20 targets and 15 receptions all the time. I want him available when we need him too.

Seahawks are the second best team in the NFC. In no way shape or form did I think the Rams would win comfortably. This game is about what I expected. The defense did a lot to take Puka away, which is why Kyren averaged 11 yards a carry in the first half. This isn’t the Cardinals we were playing. We played the biggest threat to our Super Bowl in the NFC and won.

What I didn't like was the 4th quarter. Three possessions in a row where they had great field position and could have put it away but the offense was too busy sucking ass.

So I give cred to Seattle. They won the second half. Also they legitimized themselves in playing us to the hilt.

But the Rams got it done. So we will see how the next game goes in Seattle. Maybe in that one the offense will show up.

Money Mevis! That's 9 XPs in a row and we really needed those 3 points today. Karty I'm sorry dude, but, Mevis is almost automatic, as he should be. For me to celebrate a kicker making x-tra points is kinda funny, but that's where we are.

Celebrate a Kicker all you want, but WTF is with up the announcer Josh Karty was cut ?Just disturbing false info in a game.
We’ll see what happens after next week though.Might be true then.

It was a bit concerning that the Rams really could have dropped the hammer in the second half but did not or could not. The defense balled out though, and the punt that landed at the 1 yard line may have saved the game because of the time and field position that caused the sea pigeons to use a lot of time. Thankfully that long FG at the end was short and wide right.

100% disagree. I liked the midnight mode as an alternative.
Didn’t hate midnight mode. I liked the helmets because the black looked close to the dark blue of our classic helmets. Also I could finally see the blue tint under the stadium lights in those midnight jerseys.

…and we won!

Seattle Played aggressive, go after the QB and stop the run on the way to the QB.
Play Action was useless against that.
That D Coordinator from Baltimore has an aggressive style I love.

Seems like we are defaulting back to the Raheem bend don't break defense with limited blitzes and heavy soft zones.

But hard to argue against a 4int day and keeping them at 19 points.

Good Lord, I'll have to try to take the advice to "think before I post", but this supposed "celebration" thread fucking pisses me off.

Hard to believe the amount of griping and complaining... after the Rams just showed a ton of guts against an elite team, and now are considered by many to be Super Bowl favorites.

Did you guys not see McVay's locker room speech? THAT is how we Rams fans should feel after this glorious gutsy win.

As McVay says: "Never take for granted the ability to be so fucking resilient."

I'm so fucking glad the internet was still in its infancy in 1999... would half the fans have been "venting" after that glorious 11-6 win over the Bucs in the NFCCG? "Complaining" about how the offense was stifled and the defense had to bail us out?!

If you haven't already, WATCH McVay's victory speech. THAT is how to celebrate the fucking win today. For fucks sake.

Yes they were aggressive which explains the poor OL showing, but Stafford also was just off. Our offense can move the ball without playaction on most days.

So it occurs to me...is Sam Darnold the new Kirk Cousins?
Here is my too cents about Sam Darnold.
When pressured, Sam Darnold becomes Sam Darnold.

Thinking about that, I heard Skip Bayless say something about it that was funny prior to the game, which is, should Sam change his name to “Same” Darnold?

The Eagles are the biggest threat. The Hawks have a proven choker at QB.
Like post # 141 wrote, more 12 with Puka and Adams, Terrance and Allen and more of Williams than Corum.
The could have and should have won this this by a TD or more had McVay not tried to eat clock too early in the 3rd. We punted twice and should have had at least a FG attempt and more clock eaten with the first downs it would have took.
McVay kinda did the same thing against the Eagles in the 2nd half. Keep your foot on the gas, then go into the 4 minute offense.
Seattle is not all that. Paper tiger. Rattled QB and RBs who don't break long runs. Some talent, sure........ but the Rams are better and so are the Eagles.
