What I have been taking out of this season, is that when we have decent QB play, we will be pretty damn good.

And, I will be content with that, for now.

Yup, it's been that way since Bradford went down and it will remain that way until they find a true starter that can stay on the field.

I don't want to see Austin Davis start another game. The guy just makes bad reads.
The D deserved better than the outcome.
The OL needs to freaking block, that's what they are paid for.
We still need a real cover safety. I've seen enough of Rodney to know he is just too limited.

I actually thought at 14-10 the game was ours.

What a frustratingly bad loss.

One more vent then I'm done for the night.

Chris Givens ..... Miss a meeting this week would ya?

I don't understand why they abandoned the run when they were only losing by three. When the qb is struggling, try to take some pressure off of him. Seattle did that today. Wilson had two interceptions and was struggling so they ran the ball, 45 times. Running game was pretty decent today when they gave it a chance.

Miss me yet

See, here's what frustrates me the most about this Rams season... the halftime scores of the games.

Week 1: Down by 13 at the half (lost by 28)
Week 2: Up by 3 at the half (won by 2)
Week 3: Up by 11 at the half (lost by 3)
Week 5: Down by 13 at the half (lost by 6)
Week 6: Up by 4 at the half (lost by 14)
Week 7: Up by 15 at the half (won by 2)
Week 8: Down by 3 at the half (lost by 27)
Week 9: Tied at half (won by 3)
Week 10: Up by 4 at the half (lost by 17)

We're 3-6, but we were 5-3-1 going by scores at the half. If the problem was just that we stunk, we wouldn't have gotten these leads in the first place. Sadly, the solution to us just stinking would be a lot simpler too: A rebuild, and a real one, not one with a bunch of important pieces already in place for the new coach.

This is a fair critique of the coaches.

I don't want to replace Fisher. But his coordinators have to answer to that.

I often watch Green Bay play football(because they're always on TV) and i find myself daydream about having Aaron Rodgers handing off to Mason, Cunningham, Stacy....and throwing TD's to Tavon, Britt, Quick, Cook, Kendricks, Harkey every week.

That 2005 draft was a bloodbath for a lot of teams picking early.

Rodgers > Alex Baron (I think)

We win this game with most any other QB. Austin Davis makes me miss Clemons. We either start Hill or go to the grocery store and pick up a bagger.

Weak throw poor desicon making no composure = Austin Davis Yea the oline has its issues however I will not put his ineptitude on the oline. He panics at the first sign of pressure and Yea he'smobile but has no aaccuracy when he throws on the run.

On the bright side we still have 4 winning seasons and a SB in the last 25 years! Pancake, nice rant! Ugly loss and I'm also stepping back from the Austin Davis savior koolaid drink. I really thought we had lightning in a bottle and after the other coaches get a little game tape, they seem to be getting him on the ropes fairly easy. We shall see what next week holds in store at the QB position.

Yep

I agree. crap, when did 3rd and 1 or 2 become a passing down and shotgun for god's sake? Run the effing ball and see what happens. We have two bangers in Cunningham and Stacy and one guy who can beat the first Defender and maybe take one to the house. I HATE out 3rd down calls and execution. It's like we are being dictated to instead of doing the dictating, which I thought was our MO
I don't necessarily disagree. However, didn't Fisher point out last week that statistically speaking, the Rams (were) more successful passing on 3rd down, than running?

When Davis is on, he is ON. When he's off, he is OFF. No in between.

Teams have learned that he doesn't handle the blitz well AT ALL. He does one of 3 things:

1. Starts trying to escape before there is any legit pressure, passing up open WRs if he were just to stand in.

2. Throws a duck pass, that often end up behind, high, or TERRIBLY UNDER THROWN. This week was the 2nd straight game he had a WR for a TD, but badly under threw a pass.

3. Stands in too long, and doesn't throw ball away. Or when the pressure is unavoidable he doesn't just go down

Yeah, but knowing your QBs limitations, why does Schotty insist on doing it when he knows our guy can't get the ball out on time.

I don't know if we even have hot reads. I'm sure we do. All I see is the other team bring pressure, Davis looks at the pressure, and then I hear the theme from Jeopardy until the sack happens.

Because Davis doesn't react better even when we have more blockers. He still gets panicked and tries to scramble or drops his eyes. At least with more WRs, when he tries to scramble, we have more guys trying to break open.

I honestly can't remember the last time I got that mad at watching this game, especially at the QB position. I couldn't even imagine watching that kind of performance from Les Snead's shoes...

Buffalo benched their first round pick qb this year for Orton. Will Rams make a similar move?

We could be the Bears.

28-0 early in the 2nd? That's suckatude.

Apples and oranges, man. Davis is a third year UDRFA. I have seen all of Davis I need to, but Fisher gave his word to not bench him. We're stuck with Davis for almost half the season. :(
