being A Cal Bears fan... I had/have no doubt. Kid did not get to his draft status guiding an under performing Pac12 team by accident. Goff was tabbed early on right out of H.S by being chosen for the Trent Dilfer's "Elite Eleven" series. Several other top QB's in that class (J.Winston, ..couple other's escape my name memory) .. The kid is a great QB. Some things will take some time, but his signs of being a "good/great" QB started when he was in H.S. Being partner'ed with McVay is only going to accelerate the process

The report Friday- Saturday was they were booking up.

Last season I had Copper Kupp & Woods at certain points on fantasy.Woods was a numbers machine before getting hurt.

Gurley is already in the same page as well.Goff hit Gurley to end Thursday’s practice for a 2 point conversion to have the offense win the day !! Goff is hitting his spots.

McVay is just feeding him growth a QB. Just look at Cousins. The pass protection is spot on in timing. Putting the package together.

It is hard to tell totally. The thing with Goff is he can get flushed & then just lives for another play. I had one play that came to me & had a up close feel for a sexy. Was cool , view & seeing in the moment.
The thing that is cool is if Goff gets flushed a WR needs to find space. Goff keeps eyes open down field , but also mind set is not to force it.

this 100%. last season when goff got flushed out of the pocket he was always looking downfield for someone to throw it to but most times he had to just throw it over the sideline. the receivers have to try and get open. every time they showed a replay of those plays the receivers were just moving sideways the same speed as jared. they should study what the seagulls receivers do when wilson has to run around back there. they always work hard to get open for him. that's why he can always complete those passes.

The WR core is much better without Tavon. Sammy Watkins never helped out.

The game against NO’s Josh Reynolds caught a TD pass because he found a seam. Thomas has those instincts. P. Copper will get a couple game reps.

This is the part of his game that reminds me of Rodgers. When he flushes out he is always looking to drive the ball at least 20yrs if not deeper, but he has no problem just throwing it away. He's not careless, but hes also not scared. And that combo is deadly as his 4:1 TD/INT ratio showed. No one other than Rodgers has held that percentage long term, but maybe Goff settles somewhere around 3:1.
