The defense scored as many touchdowns as our offense today. AND they provided 3 takeaways for our offesne. Please please stop with this fucking nonsense. Blaming the defense is just so disrespectful with how well they've been playing.
Oh shiet. Was that not blue font? Dohhhhh.....If you were reading my previous you would know I was praising the D only....Ughhhh

Oh, he’s one of those fantasy boys.

I would suggest that you misread me.

And I continue not to give a shit about his commentary.
He also works on one of the NFLs biggest podcasts. I didn't misread you. Your comment just came off as dismissive, like he doesn't know what he's talking about. So I was asking what he said to make you dismiss him.

Its nick mullens on the otherside. I expect them to stop him if the game is on the line. Especially with the players the rams have on defense.

Not how it works though. You still get fatigued and we were on short rest. Does that mean if Goff wasn't horrible today we should have pitched a shut out cause Mullins was playing?

Apparently we have a defensive problem...
I don't believe anyone actually thinks that. They just wish the D didn't allow the 9ers to march down for a game winning score.

And I do recognize Goff struggling. He had a lousy game.
I watched other QBs have lousy days. It happens. But here, its like the worst thing evarrrrr.

A positive MAYBE.

We might be a good team capable of winning a championship. As I mentioned before the 49ers match up well against us and own us. That is four straight wins.

Yeah no worries I knew you were being sarcastic and I get it. It would be ridiculous to put this loss on our defense, they played well enough to win except for the 1 drive that they gave up that we actually lost on... but other than that, they were solid.

Goff had a very bad game. Maybe his worst. But his coach didn't help at all and usually doesn't help Goff when he's having trouble. In fact he compounds the problem by putting even more pressure on Goff. I'm more pissed at McVay right now. Some of those playcalls on 3rd and short were lame as hell.

our excellent D couldn't tackle, especially in the first half. First guy going high or for the strip? When the fuck did we forget basic HS football?

i lost my shit when fuller went for the strip after stopping samuel on 2nd and long. went for the strip then lost his hold on him a he ran for the 1st down and much more. lost my shit. because i thought he was better than that, smarter than that.

I was checking the NFL box scores this evening.

I do not know what is going on in Denver, but after their hapless QB, Goff had the worst QB rating in the league today.

Bottom of the barrel.

I believe the same situation existed after Goff's embarrassing and disgraceful play in Miami.

History has shown McVay does not tolerate routinely shitty performances. The fact that the most important position on the team has now become a massive uncertainty is a five alarm bell ringing which will be keeping McVay up all night.

Should be interesting to see how our head coach handles this disturbing development.

Literally every single QB on the broncos roster couldn’t play due to covid protocols, they had a receiver playing QB

Seriously we can lose to anybody and I won’t be pissed like this. Fuck those pos’s and their fans and their smug players. Seattle is a class organization compared to their bitch asses.

Couple of things...

ALL QBs are system QBs. No way Brett Favre does well with the dink and dunk Belichick offense, for example. Brady is struggling in Arians' deep threat offense.

McVay REQUIRES a QB to consistently execute his offense. While he can adjust, the QB absolutely MUST execute the offense. McVay doesn't need the biggest arm or the most mobile guy, but he absolutely MUST be on the same page and make the plays that are there.

May seem strange, but the rest of this season is gonna tell us something. I think Goff CAN be the QB that McVay NEEDS. He's been that at times in the past, but not consistently enough.

However, if the rest of the season looks like variations on this theme, I would expect Snead to seriously put the job up for competition this off season.

Put it to y'all this way... wouldnt' surprise me if Goff isn't where we want him that they bring in someone like Ryan Fitzpatrick to compete

Lemme be clear: I really want Goff to step up and be that Franchise QB that we all want him to be.

That said, this FO won't sit around and waste AD's or anyone else's prime on Goff if his decline continues.

A year after winning OPOY, we dumped Gurley. This FO won't settle, even if it means eating a TON of dead cap.

If fans don't like Goff's inconsistency then they are not going to be able to handle Fitzpatrick any better.
