That's some good news but 200 bucks is stupid. What about blacked out games? A few years ago I had Sunday ticket and I was still forced to watch my Rams games online on 1st row.

i bought sunday ticket online (without directv) the first year it came out for $350. there are no replay or recording capabilities and i got called in to work five sunday's so i had to also buy nfl game rewind ($40) to watch the games i missed. i have only purchased game rewind since, this year it is $99.99 but it includes preseason live and i get access to the sunday games after the afternoon games instead of the sunday night game.

Fuck it..When it's 10 bucks I might do it..I spent too many years paying full price, while others didn't...I watch from Europe now.

I may have to go that option, where did you purchase it?

No blackouts this year.

My new work schedule means I'll get to watch exactly 0 games live. So I'll just end up watching highlights, I'm not paying money to watch games I'll already know the score to.

Only available to those unable to install a satellite dish... But a step in the right direction anyway

Which was the way it was set up in the past, not sure what the difference is now?

Still a ripoff IMO. I get why people that live out of state would pay it but I can't justify that kinda cash when I can watch the Rams for no extra cost with my current TV setup. If it were like $100 I might do it if I could watch all the other games on demand at my convenience.

Thankfully I'm moving in September, so I can get it for free again.
I've actually had the Ticket for 10 years, and maybe paid for it three times.

Oh no blackouts, nice. That's actually another good thing then. Still think 200 bucks is a rip off. My buddy might let me use his info and get that student discount, hes still deciding if he wants to get it. I'll pay 100 bucks max just because the quality on steams kill me sometimes but ill deal with it if I have to pay 200 or more.

I'd do the same if I had your schedule too, its hard watching games after the fact. For me at least.

Last year i couldn't get it when they had this offer because they wanted me to get a dish set up and use there service but i did the availability check today and it said i could just get the stream package FWIW. Maybe they finally realized they could be making more money and loosened up rather then trying to force there dishes on people for it.

I tried to buy one of the full price packages. But they wouldn't let me. So I have no qualms with using my girlfriends student account to get the discounted package.

If he doesn't, go ahead and use mine. I'm assuming you need a student e-mail or something, and don't have to live on campus.

Really? I'd be down dude. We used his info to go through the steps and it looked like it only required you to go to a State College or university, first and last name, date of birth. Somehow there linked to the schools, we tried to put fake info in just to test it and it said that person was not in the schools data base. Then is pretty much says enter the email you want to use which can be anything it looks like and you check out. If we do it I'll share it with you.

How to get Sunday Ticket without ordering DirecTV:

1) Order DirecTV.

2) When installer arrives say these magic words "I just want sunday Ticket online, so this is a No Line Of Sight, Please."

3) Hand installer $20.

Works best with scantily clad GF. ;)
