It sounds like Rams got in the Suh game when it looked like he wasn't gonna get double digits in millions a year. His character and declining play seem to have really depressed his market.

My guess is the Rams will offer him a one year deal around what Sheldon Richardson is getting with Vikings (Vinny all but suggested a market like that for Suh). 8-9 mil plus incentives. If he's really not happy with his market, he can bet on himself with a one year deal, lots of players are doing it these days.

That's definitely something we can afford.

Suh was due 26 mil this year if he stayed in Miami. How much do you think the rams are willing to pay....15? More? How much is he willing to capitulate?

maybe he realises teams aren't gonna pay him the kind of money the dolphins, the idiots, threw at him. now if he can't get that money he may as well get a ring. that would be my thinking in his shoes anyway.

Rams could save about $3.5 mil by cutting Kayvon Webster.

Save $5 mil by cutting Barron or around $7 mil if they could find a a way to trade him(Browns?).

They could also move around some money in other players contracts to open up some cap space.

Just thinking of ways we could sign Suh, ink Donald to a LTD, and still sign another player or two. Like an ILB or edge rusher before the draft.

We could fit Suh in and sign Donald. But I doubt we'll go after anyone else (who isn't playing for the NFL minimum). It'll take a little bit of creativity. But it's doable. Especially if we extend Joyner.

Forgot about extending Joyner which could save us a few million as well.

Man if we pulled this off and then drafted Landry or LVE

I think I'd be more likely to trade back (because I have a feeling one or both are gone before our pick). I think we'd come out sitting pretty with a trade back. We grab an OLB and two ILBs on Day 2 if we let Barron go. If not, maybe we grab a TE or a WR.

In a trade back scenario, assuming we kept Barron, I’d love to grab Lorenzo Carter, Goedert/Gesicki, and whoever was BPA at ILB.

I highly doubt that Gesicki is available if we trade back (I think he's a definite first rounder), but I don't think he's the right fit either (as incredibly talented as he is). I love Goedert. I also think Hayden Hurst would be a tremendous addition in the late 2nd. I'm not that high on Carter because I don't see him as a premier pass rusher. I see him as more of a do-it-all type LB, and I think Samson already has that sort of ability.

Personally, if we were to trade back to the early 2nd, I'd look into a guy like Sam Hubbard to play OLB or Rashaan Evans to play ILB.

Vinny hints at that when someone suggested if the Rams could sign him in the 10-13 mil range. Sounds like the price might not be as high as some think idk.

He is getting up there in age. Plus, he's not really a guy you want on a team that doesn't have a strong culture. It'll be interesting to see what he costs. He's still an All Pro caliber talent. Putting him between Brockers and Donald would give us the best DL in football.

I like Hayden Hurst too. Kind of sucks he’s already 24 but so was Kupp and he’d be a good fit for the offense.

I would love to get Evans in the 2nd round if he fell that far. I get what you’re saying about Carter being a little similar to Ebukam. Maybe if Wade really loved Shaq Griffin they could take him in the 3rd. I know you’re a big fan of his as am I.

With Donald, Suh and Brockers I couldn't care less if the Rams signed this guy as MLB:
