That still hurts to even think about it,nothing will ever make it better and it is the sole reason why I no longer place bets on the NFL,and I live in las Vegas so that's not easy to do.

I am still in therapy for the trauma experienced in SB 36. We need to go to Foxboro, rip the trophy out of the case, and bring it to St. Louis.

There was no way...NO WAY that the league was going to let ANY team not named the "Patriots" win the Superbowl after 9/11. I knew we were screwed after they gave them the game against Oakland.

I will never, ever get over the shock and disappointment that I felt when the Cheatriots won that SB. It was wrong on every level. . . I hate the Cheats to this day, and I hope that they NEVER, EVER will win another Super Bowl.

It doesn't help and no one who isn't a Ram fan cares. I loathe that fat ass, womanizer Bellicheat and his pathetic franchise, but really, no one but us gives a shitt. It makes me crazy to think that the Rams were dupes, fools, pawns, but here we are.

We weren't the only team cheated in a Super Bowl by them.(Not to mention playoff games)

V3 - 100 % correct. Like a professional golfer whose responsibility it is to "protect the field" by calling out playing partner errors and playing by the rules, every team in the NFL was cheated by the unlevel playing field created when Bellifuk decided he needed a huge cheating advantage to win. I heard the book author say F'g Tammy Brady even had a 2nd radio feed into his helmet allowing conversation right up to the snap. I am damn mad over this shitt all these years later, but my feeling stands: Nobody but Ram fans give a shitt. It is a maddening concept. The wool pulled over the glazed eyes of a half billion sports fans. You start to feel like the great, but tortured, Walter Sobchak at times.

I've also said this same thing for years. Non football people look at me like I'm wearing a tin foil hat.
Like I'd ever wear it outside to work.

And Goodell is nothing but a dickgobbling little shill for the pig owners (Georgia, with her own set of franchise crushing issues, was never accepted and thus not one of the pigs and the perfect victim). Don't trust the prick.

I have no doubt that Goodell gives preferential treatment to the "big teams" like the Patriots but I also think the decision to sweep it all under the rug was also influenced by all the casinos. The amount of money bet on those Super Bowls would have been HUGE and then to have all those outcomes reversed or tainted would have been a DEFCON 1 shitstorm for the NFL, Vegas, betters, etc.

I can't understand how come people can actually defend the Patriots.

Okay, I understand that their fans want to preserve their fantasy fairy tale.

But Ram fans? What kind of head up the ass person can look at this, and not see what Billicheat did?

Interestingly enough, there are still a good deal of fans from other teams that care. Of course, whenever it is brought up, the Patriots fans flock to the thread and accuse those fans of being "haters", Rams fans of being "bitter", and claim that anyone who talks about it is "trolling" them. Because, according to them, "other teams were doing the same thing" and "it didn't offer any real competitive advantage". The rule breaking was "minor".

Of course, my question is always, "If it didn't offer competitive advantage, why would they be breaking the rules and why would the league punish them for it?" Never get a straight answer for that one.

All of us are outraged but Martz ,lost his job pretty well over it,and is ostensibly black listed from a HC job cuz of the bullshit that went down in it's wake.
It's a wonder he didn't go postal about it.

Another thing I noticed, they didn't play the replays most of the time. They obviously didn't want people to see what really happened on those plays.
They did show the one where Dre Bly got speared on a punt return, while he was already down! They showed it as they were going to commercial. Pat Summerall had the gall to say, "Hard hitting game."

It sucks but there will never be closure. It baffles me that Patriots fans have the gall to complain about Kurt Warner or Marshall Faulk still being angry over the way that game went down. I don't know about you but in the few instances where I felt I was cheated while doing something important to me, I got pretty darn angry. And it wasn't even close to the magnitude of a Super Bowl.

Because of the destruction of evidence and the way the league swept it under the rug, there will never be closure for guys like Warner or Faulk. They'll spend the rest of their lives rightfully believing that they may have been cheated out of a Super Bowl win. They don't deserve that. We don't deserve that. Everyone deserved closure but the league made sure that didn't happen.
