Felony charge against Robby Anderson dropped
Posted by Mike Florio on April 3, 2018

Jets receiver Robby Anderson faces a long list of charges arising from a January arrest. The most serious of the charges has now gone away.

According to Andy Slater of WINZ, the felony charge of threatening a public servant or a public servant’s family has been dropped.

Anderson had been accused of telling the arresting officer that Anderson would find the officer’s wife “f–k her and n-t in her eye.

The trial had been set to commence during the team’s training camp. It’s unclear whether the dismissal of the felony charge will change that.

Anderson still faces multiple misdemeanor charges arising from the January incident.

Many of you know that I am an avid offshore fisherman. Pulling a live hammerhead into your boat is a recipe for disaster. If he was able to hold that thing by the tail and not get bitten... that shark was dead or as near dead as possible.

I’m retarded when it comes to fishing if any kind. Is this a big no in Florida?

Well... some shark species are protected. I know that hammerheads are one of the protected ones.

We call sharks "The Taxman"... no matter what species because it is pretty common to have a shark take your fish (or a big bite of it) right off the end of your line when you're reeling it in. We don't like them for this reason.

There is only one shark that is really any good to eat... a Macko. All the others aren't really any good to eat so there is no reason to kill them. Some species have a defense mechanism of pissing through their skin making themselves UNtasty to even eat by bigger sharks.

Not to mention... Taxmen are Very agile and can bend around and bite your fucking arm off with a quickness. We don't even pull the hooks out of their mouths... we just cut the leader. It's not worth the risk of getting bit. The hooks just rust out in the saltwater pretty fast anyway... the sharks are not hurt by it.

Even though we call them The Taxman, and they piss you off many times. Sharks are very important for a healthy ocean. Without them the whole ecosystems would collapse. So, unless it's a macko... we would never kill one or even consider bringing one on deck. They are very dangerous even out of water... you don't even want a minor bite from one as they can also have a bad bacteria or some shit that transfers from their teeth into your bloodstream. I was bitten on the heel by one while diving over in the Bahamas... the locals there washed my minor bite out as if I had leprosy it is such a threat.

Don't take any chances... set The Taxmen free. Unless it's a macko... and then, you better know what you're doing if you pull him into the boat. It's no joke.

Hammerheads are very big sharks... strong as hell. There is no way that you would even consider holding one by the tail if it wasn't graveyard dead. If you do... you're risking more than just a limb.

Nice info. Thanks. So basically Miller is kinda fucked if the accusation is true.

Here in SoCal sharks have gotten protection status because they've been over fished for their dorsal fin. Shark fin soup is a big thing in the Orient and shark populations in the So China Sea and the Sea of Japan have been over fished and depleted of sharks. Couple years ago before they were protected I could get 50$ a shark off the Redondo Beach pier.

According to Hawaiian folklore, hammerhead sharks are considered to be the reincarnation of someone's ancestor. So that means that Miller possibly murdered someone's great-grandmother or something like that.

Hope he gets a heavy fine.

Aldon Smith arrested yet again! This is a three peat isn't it?

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/23077347/aldon-smith-arrested-again-held-500000-bond

Aldon Smith is being held by the San Francisco Sheriff's Department on $500,000 bond after he arrested Friday for the third time in two months.

According to online records, the former Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers linebacker's next court date is on Wednesday. No new charges are listed, but TMZ Sports reports he was arrested for violating conditions of his bail.

Smith was arraigned Thursday on three charges of violating a protective order, which was issued when he was arraigned March 12 for his original domestic violence charges stemming from a March 3 incident with his fiancée. He turned himself in on those charges on March 23 but failed to show for a court appearance two weeks ago before making his appearance Thursday. He was ordered to wear an ankle monitor, which monitors alcohol use through sweat.

Smith's fiancée, Shawna McKnight, said in a statement to TMZ Sports that, "Unfortunately through these circumstances Aldon and I are no longer together."

"Although it's with a heavy heart, I truly wish him the best and pray he gets the help he needs. I will always have love for him, but at this point I'm simply the victim in this ongoing case," she said.

Smith, a first-round pick of the 49ers in 2011 and a first-team All-Pro in 2012 who had 44 sacks in his first three seasons, has had several run-ins with the law. He has been arrested on DUI charges multiple times and has previously faced weapon charges that were later reduced.

The 28-year-old played nine games for Oakland in 2015, with seven starts, and had 3.5 sacks. But the NFL, in reaction to his numerous brushes with the law and the league's substance abuse policy, suspended Smith for a year on Nov. 17, 2015, and has yet to reinstate him.

Packers receiver arrested for making bomb joke at airport
Posted by Mike Florio on April 9, 2018

While not quite on the level of shouting “fire!” in a crowded theater, whispering “bomb” in an airport apparently will get a guy arrested.

Packers receiver Trevor Davis learned that lesson the hard way. According to TMZ, Davis was arrested at LAX after making a joke at the luggage counter about having a bomb in his bags.

As the bags being transported by Davis and a female companion were being processed, Davis said to his traveling partner, “Did you remember to pack the explosives?”

The woman said in response, “Yes.”

Davis, a sixth-round pick in 2016, was promptly taken into custody on a misdemeanor count of making criminal threats.

Four years ago this month, former 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested for making a similar “joke” at LAX. He ultimately wasn’t charged.

Technically, Davis is subject to scrutiny under the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy, regardless of how the criminal proceeding resolves itself. When he travels to New York for his hearing at the league office, he should probably just take a carry-on.

Former NFL player Marlon McCree was arrested on charges of simple assault and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after an incident involving his ex-wife, The Florida Times-Union reports.

Jahzi McCree filed a restraining order against her ex-husband Friday. A day later, employees of a Jacksonville bar called police to report an alleged domestic-violence incident after two women sought refuge inside, per the paper.

Jahzi McCree’s injunction accuses Marlon McCree of verbal and physical abuse dating to 2008.

Marlon McCree, 41, played for five teams in eight NFL seasons. The Jaguars drafted the safety in the seventh round in 2001, and he later served as an assistant coach with Jacksonville.

Carrying a stolen loaded firearm around in California and speeding down the highway. That qualifies you as being among the dumbest of the dumb. Chill rating as many posts as you want but what he did was not what an intelligent person would do.

Have you ever considered maybe he didn't know the firearm was stolen? I agree, as a professional, it is his responsibility to see if it is stolen etc. and abide to local applicable laws but to call him a moron is irresponsible at best.
