Yeah. I’m surprised Boston’s not getting more attention here. He’s a baller on top of physical gifts.
He's very good..... I'm surprised as well.... And he's quicker than he looks.

I think he's the perfect compliment to Puka and the kid (Boston) is huge. Even a NFL LB wouldn't like the thought of getting in front of this kid when he's at full speed.

It's because here on the East Coast, we think everyone on the West Coast is soft. However, that is where you recruit the speed element of the game. ;)

And you're not fooling us with the surname of Boston, we know he is Washington born and bred.

My fascination with him is he's the talent type we never get to draft. That legit X with great hands and catch radius. Dude had 4 drops in 4 years.

But him not running feels like an admission that he can't put up a good time. So we'll see where he goes off.

That's all great, but his interviews sucked.
You say that with sarcasm but that's a genuine conversation that's going to be had lol. If you've listened to enough Snead interviews you should be able to read this in his voice:

"First and foremost, we looked at this player as a human being and not just as an athlete.. how they fit within this building and this team if we put them in an environment where they were going to be able to grow and develop as a young football player"

Just add a few uhhs, and some intermittent emphasis and pausing. No shade intended to the greatest Rams GM of all time.

Based on how the Rams have drafted the position in the past and our current WR room, I wouldn’t be surprised if they wait on the position and take a shot at someone who might not play right away or get limited snaps. Maybe bring him on to replace DA next season while learning behind him and Puka.

Sounds an awful lot like Chris Bell.

We need two WR's in the next two years. One to play either X, slot or Z or some combo of those this year. And another once Adams is off the books.

To me I'm not caught up in if we draft an X (god knows how many teams have tried to force and X and only landed the sacrificial type) but that we get the best WR avail to us at the slot of our choosing as we have multiple needs at WR in this two year horizon.

A legit X is the hardest receiver to find. Rams have found two elite slot receivers outside the first round during McVay's tenure. So it's easy to look at Lemon and say "oh yes this is his type." But the Rams don't need a slot receiver. What they need is an X receiver.

How often are they up here at 13. It just doesn't make sense that Lemon's the dude they have circled on the draft board. And that's outside of him creepin hard at the podium or the rumored bombings that occurred in some of the team interviews.

If they take him I'm fine with it. I'm a USC fan, I know what Lemon's capable of. But for this year's run I'd rather have MacDonald then Rodriguez to make this defense super elite. Or many other combinations than starting with a slot at 13. It wouldn't be a terrible pick or anything, but I don't think it's ideal at all.

I don't subscribe to this logic. McVay is an innovative offensive mind. He knows how to get the most out of players. All this talk about "we need an X" or "we need size" is antiquated thinking. We need production. That's what we're purchasing: cheap production. Give me a slot who is good for 100 catches, 1300 yards, and 10 TDs over a big, outside WR who can't put up those numbers.

What we do need to make sure is that our WRs complement each other. Puka is a zone killer, so we need a guy who can beat M2M. Beyond that, take the best player. Also, I hope you're not suggesting Puka is a slot WR when you say the "Rams found two elite slot receives outside the first round." Puka can certainly play the slot, but he's by no means limited to it.

Regardless, I trust McVay to make the call on the WR. Lemon is a fit. Tyson is a fit. Cooper is a fit. Others are fits. Give me production. That's what I care about.

EDIT: And while I'm at it, if we're looking to add some speed to the room, I like Eric Rivers in the mid rounds.
