For me, I think it is only Tate or Styles. And I don't expect either to be there.

Trade down, grab Omar Cooper Jr., use one of the thirds to trade up in the second to grab LB Jacob Rodriguez, and then use the two thirds to pick up a corner and a swing tackle.

Long story short: I can't wait for the draft to get here.

Probably Styles and Delane. I would have been all on board with Downs too, but, resigning Curl kind of shuts that down for me. Since I seriously doubt either with still be on the board, I'd be all over a trade to 21. Hell, I could even be on board with Simpson at 21 if the Rams love him. A trade down for Cooper would be a fantastic move. Your idea of Rodriguez would be great as well. An absolute robbery if we somehow managed to trade up for Ponds also.

I'd take Boston at 13.

Lemon does not factor in. We don't need redundancy in the slot. We need a third kind of heat.

Delane would give me pause, admittedly. But I think we're a stronger team if we take Boston. He would year one boost our redzone threat and 4 minute down the sideline.

I suspect McVay wants Tyson though. Tyson is on a different level in his separation, but also offers the X role to make the offense stronger outside the hash.

There's also a chance they're thinking Freeling if he's there. Because I think Freeling will be a LT in the NFL.

Cooper is excellent. But he has different strengths from Boston. He is more of what we already have in being a smooth and polished route runner. Definite McVay type wideout. We just have a better version of him in Puka, who is bigger as well.

I don't want another slot dude who looks like he came out of a McVay wideout factory. I want a big frame target outside the hash who has great hands, for Stafford to high point in the redzone or feed down the sideline in four minute.

If they don't get that early in the draft there are some guys who slot off the board later who can potentially deliver it. But Boston just has it all. And I'm not concerned about mocks people are seeing with him going off the board in round 2 as I doubt that's going to happen. He's Mr. Automatic out there with size. Dude won't last long on the board.

I'd take Cooper Jr. over all of them.

But, surprisingly enough I just watched a PFF Draft video where Cooper Jr. didn't even make it to #13.

I think there are multiple wideouts in this class who might go off earlier than they're commonly slotted. Cooper is a great looking prospect but when you talk about the guys up top usually they require something difficult to find from that supply/demand perspective. He doesn't have rare size, rare speed, rare hands, etc. Rather he's a guy whose value is in the combination of very good traits.

But in the end the wideouts go off the board based on what teams are looking for to some extent. And there's a lot of difference in their roles so of course anything can happen.

Five years from now though who will be the top receivers from this class. Cooper might be one of them, certainly, particularly if he goes to a team with a good QB and they play him in the slot. But he doesn't look like a top ten dude to me, probably more a 20s type at best if you are looking for an off-LOS chain mover. I think his rise has more to do with Lemon being rumored to be dropping on team boards due to his combine interviews. And Cooper may be preferred by some teams over Concepcion due to hands advantage, where Concepcion's weakness is the drops. But I don't see a ton of difference in Lemon vs Cooper vs Conception. And maybe a couple others tbh.
