I agree but the fact that Dotson, Avila and McClendon are all free agents after this season is a little scary, as there are no decent replacements on the roster.

I look at the Lions' O-Line a few years ago ... it was Terrific ... vs. now ... UGH!
The thing that gives me hope is that we have been successful drafting OL later in the draft. I certainly would like us to hit it after the premium picks.

That's the way I mock it. Skill players, offense & defense, early. Then hammer of the OL & DL later. This is also hoping they can move back a few spots here and there and add a couple picks. Like maybe trade 93 for sometning in the 110's and get an extra pick in the 150's. Also, as we have discussed, maybe move back a few spots from 13 for an extra 3rd.

I was starting to become intrigued by Chris Brazzell but am still researching. Why is he a no for you?

I don't get a blocker at #13. There is no fantastic swing tackle in the draft, which is what we ultimately need the most on the line. So anyone they draft that is OL at 13, would ride the bench in a year we are going all in. I'd be very disappointed. I do really like Mauigoa and Ioane but how much would they improve our team this year? Whereas a CB or WR would play a lot. A LB would play too, but there will likely not be one being worth picking at 13.
I hear ya. Just throwing it out there because a T3 IS a valuable spot and a definite need and CB1 seems to have been addressed. Drafting another CB might be able to wait until after the 1rst—especially if you consider McD as essentially being the #28 pick.

The Rams not only need a capable T3, but again, there’s no guarantee McClendon re-signs here. He earned himself a nice payday and might play elsewhere in ‘27.

Round 2 or 3 would be a good spot for a T3. I like Tiernen (N’western) there.

Recent lack of success of Tennessee WRs entering the league. From what I'm hearing things are kept very simple there.

It's like they've become the new Baylor Bears of WRs entering the league.

Can’t judge specific players based on their schools; each player deserves his own merit.

Brazzell has tools to work with. He’s not just some size/speed receiver; he’s actually a very good route runner for his size (albeit it’s true that Tennessee only gives basics), and presents a large target with solid hands.

I’m not saying he’s perfect, but if we gained a high third, I’d certainly spin the roulette wheel.

Dang, CGI, I love both the guys you have as "no's" lol.

I don't like writing guys off because of the system they're in, but I agree that the Tennessee system is a huge red flag for WRs. While Brazzell feels different than a guy like Jalin Hyatt (all speed, no hands) because he catches the ball well, the lack of YAC and unpolished route running make him a questionable fit here. I see why people like him (big, fast, and huge catch radius), but it's much harder to run by guys in the NFL. Don't think he's a great fit for what we do.
