We both know Cleveland just makes too much sense......add another head case who is not a sure thing.I think he’d be a good “gamble” for the Cards. If he works out, they got their guy. If he doesn’t…oh well
My wife yes, my guitar, NEVER! (quote by bandmate one time).Jeff Fisher yes, McVay no
There is speculation in Philly that the Eagles could take him. There is smoke that they are in no hurry to extend Hurts with another huge deal, and that he is wearing thin on his teammates and coaches. Plus, there are doubts that he can run Manion's (McVay/Shanahan) offense.Sure sounds like people are all over the place on Sorsby rankings. Brugler says NFL feedback on Sorsby was 3rd roundish. Otherwise he would have come out. Brugler says he wanted to this year but grade wasn't high enough and smarter to take 5 mil in NIL money.
I bet he ends up going 4th-5th when this is all said and done. He probably is a 3rd rounder in general and once you get to day three picks after that it's a little easier to burn a say 4th round pick on such a gamble.
I could see them taking a flyer on him for sure. There is speculation in Philly that the Eagles could take him. Yeah I wouldn't be sold on Hurts at all if I were in Howie's shoes. Also Howie has great vision and trusts it, so it would not surprise me to see him at least throw out a bid and see if they can reel Sorsby in on the cheap. There is speculation in Philly that the Eagles could take him. Luckily, Rams arent in this one. I'd say:Not a chance in hell I'd ever take a guy who committed the one cardinal sin in sports that you can't do anywhere: betting on his own team.
Testaverde wasnt a supplemental, Bernie Kosar wasThis is definitely an active Supplemental Draft. Dont get these very often. Testaverde, Walsh. With all the variables in the NFL Universe i will just about guarantee this ends by the 2nd Round and possibly the 1st.

The downside is if they burn a 2nd or even a 3rd on him, it really speeds up Hurts exit and could affect his play this year.Yeah I wouldn't be sold on Hurts at all if I were in Howie's shoes. But for that to happen Howie would need to believe the panic attack thing is just bullshit when he was trying to extend his collegiate career. If that stuff is real I don't think the Eagles will be interested.
Luckily, Rams arent in this one. I'd say:
Jets, Dolphins, Ravens, Browns, Steelers, TEXANS, Colts, Cowboys, Eagles, Lions, Vikings, Buccaneers, Falcons, Panthers, Cardinals and quite possibly Seahawks and Niners have varying degrees of interest.
As I've said, its over by 2nd Round. Anyone wants to step up with a 1st, he's yours.....
I never "got" this (and neither did Pete Rose). It doesn't matter who you bet on, it was betting period. Though I don't see the problem with betting now that Draft Kings has PARTNERED with the NFL. The fear leagues had with betting is getting in deep with the bookies and having Carmine, Angelo or Vinny the Gooch make you an offer you can't refuse. But betting on you own team with draft kings? Why not? You can't control if your team wins as much as you can control them losing. So betting against them is taboo. If these athletes get in too deep with draft kings, DK is not going to send Kurt Warner or some other celeb out to collect or make you an offer you can't refuse. Not a chance in hell I'd ever take a guy who committed the one cardinal sin in sports that you can't do anywhere: betting on his own team.
