I don't think the buzzards are all that good. When the Rams get a poke at them I feel we are gonna see a total ass kicking.

The 9ers.... well that's a different story. I think they're a pretty damn good team..... ya that was difficult for me to state.
Let's hope your right about the Seahawks game. Every time I've watched them this season they've seemed strong on defense. They're 3rd in points allowed right behind the Rams and 7th in yards allowed also right behind the Rams.

Yeah, I'm sure you had to swallow down some throw up with that statement about the Niners.

The hawks are 26th in that earlier Tackling post. That surprised me.

I'd prefer to see Purdy. He might be more mobile than Jones but he's not as willing to check down as much. Jones will check down all game if he has to. We play a looser kind of defense that tries to avoid big plays. But susceptible to a team that excels in the short game. Which is a staple of the Shanahan offense. I hope the defense watches a lot of film on what the Texans did and what the Giants didn't do.
Yes, lets hope we studied their recent game and, hell, our last game with them. Can't let the likes of Bourne have career games. There is no excuse to lose this game, just like their wasn't last time. We lost that game, they didn't win it.

Main thing is for the defense to not come out cold and confused as they did in the first game. We know McVay wants this one but a key for him is not to outsmart himself in his playcalls.

This game is must win because the 9er's are up 3-0 in the division plus the Rams fumbled away a win at home against them.

JUST WIN...WHO CARES IF IT'S BY 1 OR 21...JUST WIN!!!

Personally I can't imagine playing with a back injury. But I suppose this is one of those games where if you can go you go.

The whiners are a walking MASH unit. The Rams must destroy them this this week. I think they sort of took us by surprise last time and by the time we recovered, it was too late. Still had a chance to win if the FG unit is clean, or if the fumble return TD isn't taken away with a quick whistle. Or if we don't run on 4th and 1 right behind the right side of the line that had backups playing.

I really hope the Rams offense comes out firing on all cylinders. They can't keep replacing guys like Bosa and Warner and beat us, or we're just not a super bowl caliber team at this point in the season. That and the FG unit has to perform at an NFL level. Seriously, this problem must be solved NOW or it's going to cost the Rams more critical games.

It is time for the Rams to kick some ass on this beat up 49ers unit. Slowing down McCaffity and Kittle will result in a Rams win, of course, we all know this along with the Rams coaches and players.

That soft zone where you just let them check down and tackle didn't work last time and certainly don't want to see much of it this time.
Want the rush to get home, which means making Jones hold the ball longer. That means man coverage more. That also means taking the risk of some big plays downfield. Its a bit of a trade off. But, must be done.
Im sure Shanny will have some wrinkles ready.
I wouldn't mind (assuming OL is functioning well) seeing some no huddle worked in for the Rams throughout the game.
Third series, again later in the first half, out of halftime etc. Let the OL settle in and let Stafford cook. Also, can still run it plenty out of the tempo offense.
We shall see.
Cautiously optimistic.
Go Rams....crush, destroy, defeat and vanquish the Whiners back to hell they rose from.

Ahkello Witherspoon is the only one missing from the Rams preferred 53 man roster.
Yep...so McCreary has to show his worth here. The 9ers play a pretty simple offense. They mainly play the short pass game to keep pressure off the qb and look to their TE and WRs to get YAC yards after the catch and run McCaffery hard.
