Do not give them that much credit.
you are making 49er fans who read this happy, why ?
We need them miserable.
9ers misery = me happy.
I want them wiping their tears with their shit stained rainbow towels.
That doesn't work trust me.... well at least the my 49er buddies that come over for games. They can be down three touchdowns and they still believe they can win.

Love seeing the Rams at the top. (Reeder?). Surprised seeing the Seahawks and Texans so low, they’ve looked really good on defense this year.

I don't think the buzzards are all that good. When the Rams get a poke at them I feel we are gonna see a total ass kicking.

The 9ers.... well that's a different story. I think they're a pretty damn good team..... ya that was difficult for me to state.

I have an irrational sports hatred for the 9ers and really need the Rams to win this one. Last one really.. REALLY upset me, not gonna lie.
There's nothing irrational about sports hatred. Rams fans hate the niners and their fans. Niner fans hate the Rams and their fans. Dodger fans hate the Giants and their fans and like-wise. Yankee fans hate the Red Sox and their fans and like-wise. It's not irrational. It's NORMAL.

My top four hated Teams

Oilers
Giants
49ers
Pistons

Oh.... and the chYankees

Doesn't matter if it's jones or Purdy. Same QB, although I think we can rattle Purdy more than jones. Still it will come down to stuffing the run and stopping the passing dinks.
I'd prefer to see Purdy. He might be more mobile than Jones but he's not as willing to check down as much. Jones will check down all game if he has to. We play a looser kind of defense that tries to avoid big plays. But susceptible to a team that excels in the short game. Which is a staple of the Shanahan offense. I hope the defense watches a lot of film on what the Texans did and what the Giants didn't do.

I'd prefer to see Purdy.
Recalling how much we banged up Jones in the first game, I'd like to see him start and get beaten up some more. If we get some early licks on him, after the first quarter he might be walking like Geno Smith did last night at the end of the game. The Wed injury report mentioned BOTH of his knees ...

We should be good in this game if, unlike last time, we don't shoot ourselves in the foot (multiple times). Stafford is way sharper now and he is much more in sync with Adams. The kicking game will be (unfortunately) a great area of interest to watch!

AWWWW SHUCKS!!!

"The Los Angeles Rams dominated the rivalry against the San Francisco 49ers in the 1970s, winning 17 of 20 games. This included a 10-game winning streak from 1970 to 1975 and another seven-game streak later in the decade. While the 49ers had some notable wins, such as in 1970 and 1976, they generally struggled to compete with the Rams during this era."
My first live game was when all that changed, 81 at Candlestick. At least I got to see Ferragamo and Montana live.
The Rams were WAY bigger than the 49ers, thought we were going to kill them. Our O line was massive in comparison.
