He's still the same guy, all the talent in the world but can't keep it consistent

I look at him like an ex-wife. He is someone else's problem and I'm relieved he's gone.

@VegasRam

It takes a big man to admit when they are wrong.

Jared Cook can play....

I think the offense, while still bad, fell off the map when he left.

I thank the football Gods every time I see Jared Cook on another team! He makes a great play, and then breaks your heart on the next one. Just like in Green Bay, and St Louis, and Tennesee, and Oakland, and (fill in the blank for next year -lol).

Can you believe a poem was written about him?
I'll chain you to the truth
The truth shall set you free
I'll turn the screws of truth
And bury you with honesty
I'll make all your dreams come to life
And slay them as quickly as they came
Smother another failure...

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Jared Cook makes hard catches then drops too many easy ones and is horribly inconsistent

I am admitting I was wrong about Jared Cook.
The ironic thing is, he was Fisher’s guy, and Fisher did not have the offense to use him properly.
I don’t know why Green Bay let him go - may have been a money thing. They are notoriously cheap.
He’s a good player.

Have you forgotten all the drives killed by throwing to cook on 3rd down? Cook is athletic as fuck, but does not catch well and cant block.

Hey, goddammit!
I never said I wanted him back. :rolllaugh:

I just badmouthed him to death, and he just looks different to me - I’ve watched every Raider game this year.

And btw, I didn’t think he was all that with the Packers, one great catch notwithstanding.

I am glad to see my previous opinion validated.

It is easy to look better when he gets less targets, the Rams tried to feed the ball to him like a #1 WR.

Boy, I dunno... looks like he's still inconsistent and pretty mediocre.

Game one (DEN): 8 targets, 3 receptions, 46 yards, 0 TDs
Game two (BAL): 6 targets, 3 receptions, 25 yards, 0 TDs
Game three (LAC): 3 targets, 2 receptions, 14 yards, 0 TDs
Game four (KC): 7 targets, 6 receptions, 107 yards, 0 TDs
Game five (BUF): 5 targets, 4 receptions, 57 yards, 0 TDs

With the exception of the KC game, he's been a non-factor.

Sounds pretty typical to me.

Glad he's not on the Rams.. that's for sure.

And don't forget. right after he made a great play near the end of the chiefs game, he was in the front of the end zone and a pass hit him right in the hand above his head and bounced off of them like he had wood for hands to go with the wood between his ears. It was the second to last play that would have been the last play if the refs hadn't called their third straight PI or Holding. They would have lost the game.

OK OK OK... Tough crowd.
I apologize for the apology. :baghead:
What I SHOULD have said, is I thought (and still do) he stunk with the Rams, and has looked better in other offenses.:boxing:

Slow news day.

Seems like Raiders are having mediocre issues from many of their players
13 targets, 5 catches for 62 yards 1 TD
5 targets, 4 catches for 33 yards 0 TD
5 targets,1 catch for 6 yards 0 TD
8 targets, 2 catches for 9 yards 0 TD
2 targets, 1 catches for 8 yards 0 TD
6 targets, 5 catches for 28 yards 0 TD
10 targets, 5 catches for 48 yards 0 TD

Thats Amari Cooper in games not also including KC game

Cook actually having a quietly good season for a team having a down year
