Yes you should do better against teams that are struggling hitting wise. But to do it with an under 1 era is incredible no matter who you are pitching against.

I loved listening to Orel and EK's run down on the history of pitchers with 1 or under ERA's. What Shohei is doing is absolutely untouched in the history of MLB play.

My son and I were talking via text last night during the game. I was lamenting about Vin and Jerry and that there will never be anyone to compare to that duo. But I had to admit that listening to Orel and EK was pretty damn close. The information they discuss during the games is fascinating. All that stuff about the evolution of the glove, etc... I stream most games and have the great displeasure of having to listen to other teams' broadcast crews. They are boring, offer almost no insight, and are just lame to listen to. Dodgers are simply a first class organization through and through and their broadcast crews are part of it. They actually care about it where other teams seem to not even listen to their own broadcast.
