That was a head scratcher. The only thing I can think of he wants to be loyal to a veteran that was good before this year.
 
My alarm just went off to get ready for work and they were still playing. Great win……… @RamFan503 can finally go to bed (a very happy man!).

Errors, great plays, questionable umpiring. Calls reversed on appeal, calls verified under appeal.
This game had it all.
I doubt I'll ever see a player get on base 9 times in one game again. Shohei had two homers, two doubles, four intentional walks and his last at bat where they pitched to him but he saw no strikes thrown.
What a game...

It’s crazy to think that an instant classic is almost 7 hours long.
It may never be seen again in its entirety.

It wasn’t a boring 18 innings.
It was constant, edge of your seat madness!

Incredible. Wish the Jays would've won (no offense, but as a Cardinals fan, I can't have the Dodgers winning more WS rings than we have), but that was a helluva game.
 
10 scoreless innings for both teams with bullpens that were considered the weak link of the teams. And who the hell is Will Klein? I didn't know he was on the roster till he came in. 4 innings of shutout ball. He deserves a game ball too. And Freddie again. I'm glad I don't get up early to go to work anymore. I needed the extra hour sleep this morning. Can't imagine how guys like @dieterbrock could stay up till 3 on the east coast.

That was nuts... I drank a lot of Makers Mark last night

The Blue Jays are gonna walk Shohei from this point forward until Mookie and Pages bats wake up.... Well that's what I would do.

And I wish Roberts would just not pitch Treinen.

Well, to be honest I was awakened by my dog who needed to go out at 2:15 am. So while I was waiting on her I realized the game was still going on, I had to watch. I was amazed that after 7 hours or so, Smoltz still wouldnt shut the fuck up. When they kept going on and on about 18 innings being the longest game ever, you just knew Freeman was gonna go deep and end it
