Great win by my Toronto Blue Jays. The American sports media narrative about the Blue Jays is hilarious. It's like they've never seen an inning of the Blue Jays play. Which is probably true.

And here is a fun little historical note: "Each of the four previous times that one LCS was a sweep and the other went seven games, the team winning the seven-game LCS won the World Series, too."

The bullpen giving up 6 runs is no big surprise. But Snell's performance was. The longer layoff play a role in that?

Yep, It was obnoxious even as a Dodger fan.

Shohei 220 BA in the 25' postseason
Freeman 214 BA in the postseason

This is 2nd most important stat
The first is for the Dodgers have to get their starters to the 7th minimum with a lead

I think its safe to say tonight is the first must win game since the Padres series last year. We'll see how they respond.

I didn't start watching the game (forgot it was on) until the top of the 2nd inning. I did have the foresight to hit the mute button from the get go. Joe Davis and John Smoltz are terrible. So as an impartial fan, it was an enjoyable experience. I plan to do the same thing tonight. I can only imagine all the insignificant insights and totally bizarre Smoltz statements I missed!!!! Graphics were enough for me as I did catch the LCS game 7 champs vs the LCS Champs who swept their way in (5-0) and the Dodgers record in game 1 on the road (1-14?). I can't imagine Davis/Smoltz being as informative. Smoltz is the prime example of no matter how much experience and success you may have, it doesn't mean you can relay it to fans sufficiently. I don't doubt he may be great over a few drinks in a bar but on a 3 hour broadcast he's pedantic.
