was it real stuff he said or the typical fake stuff on the internet like the Troy Aikman one that goes around to each team each week?
It was real, not an AI parody or anything, if that's what you mean.

A grey area, maybe. Some people thought Ben Johnson was just being "fiery" about a rivalry, others thought he showed "poor class." I for one don't like the way he talks dismissively about Matt LaFleur. I think it's immature. Other people might think he's awesome, though.

For example... if fans want to "hate" Kyle Shanahan, go right ahead. But if McVay ever bragged about his dislike for Shanahan? I'd think it was low class. I think it's cool the way McVay competes like a maniac but retains his respect.

Just my two cents, I'm sure there are plenty of differing opinions out there, like everything else.

For shits and gigs...

Looked at staffords game logs from @chicago...not great 15 tds and 15 int..

However..the ONE game he ever played there in January... 296 yards 3tds 0 int

I've read nothing but negative posts from several members since Saturday afternoon. Thry have every right to make those posts. Just as I have every right to make fun of them or challenge their negativity. Honestly reading what some people are saying is depressing and makes me think we're the Raiders not the Rams.
Well negative posts are going to happen. Can’t change that. Rams play well on Sunday and move on in the playoffs the negative posts likely move on as well. That’s when the bandwagon fans hurry to jump back on.

I forgot I have to up my game hanging around you guys.
I promise I won't forget. 248

Among the best memories of that game, was when Dickerson broke-free up-the-middle for a long TD in the 3rd quarter to make it 10-0. Hall-of-Famer Hank Stram was the analyst, and interrupted the play-by-play man (Jack Buck) to exclaim "It's the Bye-Bye Blues!"

Quick side-note ... one of the Rams' starting linebackers in that game was the Golden Bachelor Mel Owens.

Owen's was a really good player. I think he was their #1 pick in 81'? Out of Michigan. He and Mike Wilcher were one of the best OLB tandems in the league and one of the best the Rams had in their history.

FWIW, I don'tbelieve it's going to matter whether it's a early or late game. IMO, the die is cast if the Rams live up to their reputation playing in the northern tundra.

I checked the weather for the windy city next Sunday, the highs: 16, the lows 9. So unless the Rams can practice this week in a meat locker, good luck dealing with that.
You know that both teams play in the same weather right? Yeah it’s gonna be cold but in the modern NFL the fields in the stadium are much different and advanced compared to the Frozen Tundra era. That doesn’t mean it’s not a challenge but it’s a different challenge. My point being just because the Rams are an LA team the Bears because they happen to play in Chicago don’t necessarily have a built in advantage. Times have changed. Bottom line whichever team plays well enough to win on Sunday will be feeling really warm and the losing team is going to be cold.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well Stafford was able to move the ball late in the snow game against Philly last year

No. They've done well on kickoffs in my book. I had no problem with STs until that Ingle made that half-heated block that led to the blocked punt. THAT WAS PATHETIC!!! The Rams had no real ST issues until then. That was their only real issue in the game...and it happened at the worst time!!!
I would argue the blocked punt was a blessing in disguise.

The Panthers ended up scoring in like a minute which left us with plenty of time and all of our timeouts to take back the lead. Alternatively, if the punt went off and Panthers got possession at their own 30 and drove the field then we wouldn’t have had much/any time to answer.

It goes back to the thread that was getting some action last week, would you rather be on offense or defense at the 2 min warning of a 1 score game? I choose Stafford

The only way to do that is not punt, and on kickoffs kick the ball out of the endzone
I like the not punting part. Not necessarily because they will go for every fourth down but rather because they never get to fourth down. Rams have had some games this season where they didn’t have to punt too often. Just got to execute.

Yeah vinobitch fucks us so hard we're bleeding from the assholes after the game.
The only Rams' playoff game I remember Bill Vinovich officiating was the NFC Championship in New Orleans; and that one worked-out well. What games did he 'fuck' the Rams?

Honest Question. I will hate the guy ... if it's deserved.

On what football planet a blocked punt that resulted in a touchdown would be okay?????
