He hasn't done anything that other receivers don't do though. If he were a ram would his celebrating be an issue? I would guess no

I don't see Tavon Austin punching a guy who tackled him after a legal hit. I don't see Brian Quick taunting the opposing team before the kickoff. I'd be pissed off myself if I was on the field facing Beckham. And before you ask, yeah, I'd want to make a killshot on him.

Lol, i was saying the same thing during the game. Like when he praised the Rams OL. What a joke, tell that to Shaun Hill.

Then you don't know this board. On this board and others, knowledgeable fans post with integrity. There are plenty of fans who don't take to that and it doesn't matter WHO's doing it.

So, it really doesn't help anyone make their case to propose some made up case of false equivalency.

You don't have to guess. Just read back. It's already happened with celebrations and posters here (I won't speak for other places) have spoken out.

It's that whole, "act like you've been there" bit.

Did you hear him praising STL and the Rams fanbase for the excellent support they've provided to a team that has essentially been a losing team for the duration of their time in STL with the exception of 4 or so GSOT years. He said some goofy stuff, but he was also very nice to the fan base.
Dude had nothing but praise for the support the St. Louis fans have given the Rams and I have no problem with him calling it like it was for the embarrassing spectacle of today's game.

Regardless of how the Giants acted, the Rams should be ashamed and I know I am as a fan.
Yes he praised the St. Louis fans after he realized he been a horrible one sided announcer and used that short rant to dig himself out of the hole. Notice how after a while of announcing they both didn't say anything specifically after the penalty that was picked up? The production crew corrected his ass and shortly after that he has ' how good the STL fan base is" Yeah, can't dig yourself out that hole he dug for being a dickface.
He wasn't in the wrong. Ogletree and McDonald looked like they were head hunting OBJ.
This is our house. Period. Some little punk thinks he's the second coming of Jerry Rice with a Deion Sanders complex needed to be taught he could go and do that crap elsewhere but not in St. Louis. He shut his damned mouth after a while when he realized we wouldn't be disrespected anymore.
And complaining about a freakin' TV announcer while your team's defense is giving up 500+ yds to a mediocre Giants offense is like teenage girls whining because Katy Perry is making a concert stop in KC but not STL.
NEWS FLASH: This isn't the 4 pillars era anymore. Spags isn't the head coach. I don't know if you've heard but Jeff Fisher is our coach now...welcome back! :)
So we are being exactly what I HATE about niners and Seahawks fans right now, blind homers. Clown guys, tree and McDonald were trying to take everyone's head off and not in the clean physical football way. I wAtched beckham get ridden out of bounds twice way after he left the field of play. Not to mention the usual jawing while we are losing. Rams were undisciplined and immature today and you all would be saying the same had it have been the niners or Seahawks.
Again this isn't the Spags era, there are no 4 pillars just physical football. I don't understand how people don't like old school football anymore. The way the game should be played was how it was yesterday. Yes, we did have some dumb penalties and we lost but we aren't going to take a beating and let them showboat and down right disrespect us in our own house. That's not going to happen anymore. Someone needs to stand up after the past decade and change the ATTITUDE of this franchise and we saw that yesterday.

You earn respect by winning football games. If every time an opposing player 'shows you up' and you do something to retaliate, that's not developing an attitude, that's just freakin' stupid. The only thing it proves is you're soft in the head.

Your right, the fearsome Foursome or Steel Curtain or Baltimore Ravens or Chicago Bears only developed their attitude and style of play when they won/winning a game.

The only one's acting like punks were the Rams. They were instigators and tried to intimidate by late hits. It was like that from the beginning of the game before Beckham had a chance to do anything. It wasn't like the Rams were dissed by Beckham dancing on the Rams logo or something. The Rams feared him and tried to use their mouths and cheap shots to intimidate him. Instead, Beckham taught them how it's done. He put up with the crap and still had a huge day and helped his team win.

Not even remotely true. The Rams didn't fight themselves. OBJ got flagged for taunting. Which one of the Rams asked him to taunt them?

I should probably say that I love old fashioned hit you like I hate you defenses. If you're doing it while being outplayed then you just look like stupid toddlers.

I wouldn't know where to find it but if you could show me a showboating rams player that was criticized on this bored then I will gladly change my stance. But I'm pretty confident that if a rams fan was scoring multiple Td's per game and being a showboat a lot of fans would say it's apart of the game. I saw someone criticize and call him a douche odb because he was dancing during PREGAME WARMUPS. That's not a little much?

Beckham is definitely animated when he does something good but so was Victor Cruz. I haven't seen OBJ pull a stunt like Taint did. Rams were the poor sports IMO from the beginning. If they hadn't taken the approach that they did, that whole game wouldn't have been so chippy.

So next time they need to be nice?
I don't get it.

Here's my question to all complaining about Odell, would you want him on this team?

No one is saying be nice. But if you're gonna talk big and get chippy, be competitive. You look like an idiot when you're jawing with a guy after he ran through your entire team. You wanna talk big? Stop them! AND THEN get mouthy. That's why this is embarrassing. We didn't even intimidate them with all of that false bravado. They came right back to the line of scrimmage and kicked our asses. Every. Single. Play.

Yeah I disagree the giants were being jerks too. I'm just embarrassed that we got walked all over. And now our fans complaining like our rams are saints is hilarious. Same way fisher trolled the skins and it was called genius but then when Arians came at us it was "in bad taste".

I believe he was next on the Rams draft board before the Giants grabbed him one pick before STL.
