Why couldn't he have pushed him to make sure he's out of bounds. Both of their momentum was headed out of bounds. He didn't need to pull backwards. Totally unnecessary and these guys know how quickly their livelihood can be ruined. One stupid play by Stewart and he knew it otherwise he wouldn't have gone to check on him in the second half. He felt guilty.

I’m always going to go out there and push and try to get back on the field and play, but it comes down to what’s best for this team long-haul — what Reggie and his training staff believes is best for us.”

Notice what words he uses. Team guy! WE not me, there is something special about this team. And it is not just us fans with our blinders on that see it. GO RAMS.

I can't to post my score for this week. My two favorite teams RAMS and whoever is playing the whiners! That was blood oath taken 45 years ago.

Although I would like see them pull it off tonight, hurts both the pack and the whiners draft order. winner winner chicken dinner.

Not gonna sweat this too much. I have to have faith that if they let him get back on the field the knee is at least structurally sound. Outside of that if he needs some time for soft tissue healing or whatever so be it.

That said, I don't like this offense without him. He's a critical piece, what makes it go is 3x guys who can mismatch your CB depth. Pull one of them out and all of a sudden this offense is very defendable.

Darian Stewart should get a suspension. On one play - Hit out of bounds, Facemask, and hard core horse collar.

I agree sort of........any time a player does this it should be an ejection. Not a suspension but they should be tossed just like throwing a punch.

I dont see how any player can claim they were not aware of their strong grip on another player's rear shoulder pad collar. Its a ridiculous statement. You tackled high and from the rear and you know damn well that you're hanging on to the collar.

Without ANY doubt a player knows when they do this...........it's simply not possible to know that you are doing it.

Is a fine possible on that personal foul?

I can't remember a horsecollar tackle not drawing a fine.

Agreed, an ejection should be the outcome. Seeing they didn't though I would love to see a one game suspension. As far as fines....

Horse-Collar Tackle

1st offense
$20,054

2nd offense
$40,110

My idea for sometime now has been that if someone commits a personal foul and the person they committed a foul against is injured, causing him to not being able to play until he heals, then the person committing the foul should have to miss the same amount of time.

In my kids peewee league his team had a DT that leads with his head. I am on the chain gang, and overheard complaints by the opposition. The coach replied, “ wrap your arms around his neck and break his fucking neck if you have to. Just get him off the field!”

So is it unreasonable to think Stewart was head hunting?

Pull one of them out and all of a sudden this offense is very defendable.

Very defendable?
Thats a bit of a stretch isnt it?

Kupp is a big part of what we do and every sane Rams fan with working eyeballs wants to see him on the field as much as possible.
But... come on now!... IF that is/was the case then it suggests that McVays offensive is really just good because of a slot reciever.

This group of Gurley, Goff, Woods, Cooks, the O-line and Co, with Sean McVay at the helm, are very defendable without Kupp?

Somebody should have told the Broncos defense yesterday while the Rams put up 444 yards and 22 1st downs.

@badnews
What are you doing man? Stay outta this thread.

I don't think so, no. And there is no way the Broncos hold us to 23 yesterday if Kupp isn't hurt and finishes that game.

I've gone on before about how 4x matchups in the passing game puts an offense in rarefied air. And we have that with TG in the backfield. But subtract Kupp and all of a sudden teams can double up on Cooks and while you have a good offense still they're much more defendable.

Just how I see it man cheers.

Gotcha and I agree to the extent that going Kupp-less makes our offense very more defendable. ;)

"Very Defendable" just struck me as the type of over-reaction typical after a loss, and after a tough road win where even on a bad day we still arent bad at all... I found it funny but I wasnt at all meaning to be a douche about it.
I'm a little beat up and not on my game today.. my apologies.

I hate to ask stupid questions (But, I am pretty good at it!) but just how serious is that and how long do they think that will keep him out?

Well, they still haven’t said whether the MCL sprain is mild, moderate, or severe, so we don’t know. Anywhere from 0-1 week to 5-6 weeks.

Huge news is that the ACL is intact.

Since they are not saying for sure that he will miss games, I’m guessing it is a grade 1 sprain, meaning he is out zero to 2 weeks. Also, MCL heals on its own without need for surgery.
