Is there any kind of "suspension schedule" that the NFL typically abides by, in issuing suspensions, discipline, etc.?
i.e. is there any way for us to know that, by a certain date, a suspension will or will not be handed down for this upcoming season?
To me, having to do without your starting LOT for several games is a major albatross on an upcoming season that's glowing with promise, so it would be great to know for sure if the NFL is going to suspend him or not.

It seems to me, under the circumstance, that the NFLPA would have strong grounds to appeal any suspension that bob WITHCHkraft's butt buddy might issue.
I'm also worried that now that no files will be charged, the NFL is free to suspend him this season potentially as early as game 1. They no longer have to wait until the criminal investigation stopped, as it has stopped. Although, the DA did state that it was still open if more evidence was presented. That could either mean that the NFL could strike at any time or they could hold off as the DA is. Hoping for the latter.
Doubt he will be suspended for a civil incident that only misdemeanor charges were filed. Even if he's not suspended if I were the Rams I would be drafting or trading for their future LT. AJ is a ticking time bomb.
Thing is, TC is getting ready to start and Rams brass needs to know if their starting RT is going to be there for opening day or not there for multiple games.

I have to think the Rams, the commish, Vegas and anyone with a piece of this year’s season is trying to make this non-issue go away. They all have WAY more to lose than they do to gain over a gold digger crying over getting dumped. No one invested in the league want to see the Rams without a left tackle. Everyone wants to see the best possible situation with the Rams/Stafford/AD99 and the whole crew making another Super Bowl run at home. It’s where they all make the big bucks.

I’d imagine the Rams have dug into this and know more than we do. Hopefully there’s at least enough clarity to be able to respond with appropriate decisions. I’d think the league would respect us enough to grant us that prior to camp, but who knows.
