Not sure of compensation but for the record disgruntled pass rushers are traded a hell of a lot more often than franchise QB's.

Yeah. I could see this yrs 1st and maybe a 3rd in 27'. That alone could do it since he will cost big $$$.

Since it was reported as an offer for Maxx Crosby, it had to be the Raiders ... so, I was thinking two #1s plus a player with the initials LVR.

You know, there are two ways to look at that ... 1st ... I am really getting dumber and dumber in my old age ... and 2nd ... the fact that I have not yet seriously injured myself or wandered-off is Quite the Accomplishment.

Pickens doesn't have the attention to detail nor route running skills to be used in this offense.

If you want him to be in a less-timing oriented offense, run more go balls, come backs and slants than that's a different story.

Ya I'm wary of guys who publicly say they want to come play for us. I'd rather McSneed reached out to them first.

We can't afford Pickens. He is either franchise tagged or becoming the richest WR in the league next year. Even at a discount, we can't get him without hindering our ability to sign Puka long term.

Agree. Pickens seems like a complete non-starter for multiple reasons.

Yeah, I was disappointed with the lack of aggression this year. They did bring in McCreary to help the secondary, so it's not like they stood pat. They probably thought that was enough, as Spoon was also gonna come back, and at the time, the defence had yet to fall off a cliff. But being that close with an aging QB playing at an MVP level, I would have liked to see something that moved the needle a little more. Shaheed would have been perfect actually and was affordable. We let Seattle get him instead. If he was Ram, no way the Seahawks are in the Superbowl over the Rams given how huge he was for them - the punt return TD, the TD to start the NFC Championship...
