Easy today....My wife's meatloaf with Baby Ray's Barbecue Glaze and of course my favorite roasted garlic Asparagus with the classic pinot noir making the meal easy like Sunday Morning.
We are frying our own southern fried chicken. Never tried doing it ourselves before so we will see how it goes. Will serve it with slaw and chips (fries) and a bit of salad.
Winter has arrived here in Central FLA... it's only getting up to 80 degrees today. Time for chili. It's cold outside!
My secret recipe has come in 1st place at a big chili cook-off. So I do keep it secret, but I'll give you an idea of some of the stuff I throw in.

Red Wine

Lots of Peppers (some HOT, some NOT)

Some Red Beans too... but not a lot
Growing up in the 808 means that I always serve mine over some kick ass rice. This chili is so tasty it's killer to eat all by itself though.
