If true (which it seems likely) this is just terrible. Suspensions for smoking weed aside (how many of us were guilty of that when we were young) he seems like a genuinly good kid. We all make dumb mistakes in our youth. Really hoping he's ends up ok.

Also as if these players needed anymore issues to deal with. I don't want that to sound callous. Stedman's life is above and beyond any football concerns and it's not even close, but jesus christ... the hits keep on coming.

Agreed. Would think it's much more likely to be a result of mixing alcohol and ramped up machismo which is usually the case. But even that guess is premature, and irresponsible so...
