The shark or the squid? Pretty sure the shark struggles with edge work, takes too long to change directions, but is a forceful striker. Squid is better in coverage, changes direction easily, but often requires a crowd to bring down people.

And move the shark to (blunt)nose tackle. Nobody is running through that.

The squid would break all known tackling records but would have to be careful about holding calls, though.
Shark might get too many unnecessary roughness penalties though. Or whatever ripping a lineman to shreds equates too

Not fake. Giant squids are absolutely that big. I'd still take them over Humboldt squids, though; the latter are actively vicious, whereas the giant squids...aren't.
