Had a chance to pop in. I had other players that I like better, but my thinking on Petty is this:

With Palmers injury, he needs to do something at the QB spot, especially facing that badass Rams pass rush. He needs a better third stringer and would want a guy that has potential to develop. Remember Arians is an arrogant SOB. He probably thinks he can develop QB. So, he is looking for the best Arm talent that he can find to keep the deep passing game alive, if Stanton gets hurt again. That guy would be Petty IMO.

Remember Arians is an arrogant SOB. He probably thinks he can develop QB. So, he is looking for the best Arm talent that he can find to keep the deep passing game alive, if Stanton gets hurt again. That guy would be Petty IMO.

You nailed that one! I'm pretty sure we went through almost that many last year! I couldn't be sure weather that was blood on their uni's, or the color in them! I'm sure they'll keep extra ambulances on hand this season!

Not knocking the pick at all - I've said on many a thread I'm not keen on this year's QB class at all, saying that, the potential is there to coach up the next Franchise guy with a few of these guys
