I've always embraced the philosophy that all pizza is good, just some is better than others. With the exception of Papa Johns who makes the worst pizza on this planet. As to the Rams moving to tinsel town....Well, it would be nice if they could actually win and that in itself would create a better fan base that erodes each in every year with a team that is not even competitive.

I don't think it's the worst pizza on this planet, but it definitely is overrated.

In my experiences with them, they never get my order right. I like having pizzas with half and half toppings, and once they put all the toppings on one side.

Hardly ever honored my coupons without ever making a fuss out of it.

I'd rather just heat up a Digorinos frozen pizaa than have to deal with them.

Just don't waver on your opinion so fast. Remember that Kroenke is a real estate billionaire. The guy is probably one of the top in the world at working a deal into his favor.
As bad as the Rams have been, I still REALLY hope you're right. I'm just seeing a ton of smoke now and I'm still not hearing a single peep out of the mayor or governor. Usually there'd at least be whispers of different ideas that had been proposed or talked about. I haven't even heard any whispers. All I've heard is that Nixon has "talked" with the Rams. Whoopty Frickendoo. Someone needs to get off their ass and do something because it sure looks like the NFL and Kroenke are doing all the moves and they happen to all be in LA.

If a move does end up happening the future of the NFL in St. Louis may eventually depend on whether or not Shad Khan wants to be closer to his home base of Champaign (of course like Kroenke he surely has homes all over the world).

Although considering how bad (historically) NFL football has been here maybe we as citizens don't deserve have the Jaguars inflicted upon the city.

This organization is the king of the smokescreen. Let me ask you when anything of merit regarding the Rams franchise has been leaked via whispers? I'm telling you that Stan is running a tight ship....and loose lips could sink his ship (stadium deal).

I'm saying the whispers would be coming from governor's or mayor's side. I think they'd do it to appease the masses and at least give the impression that they're trying to do something. I don't expect any leaks from Kroenke's side.

This is reminding me of right after Stan got the team. Bernie got all hurt that he was included and his sources gave him nothing...that he wasn't an insider. So he wrotea bunch of bad articles aobut Stan and the Rams, until Stan met with him and suddenly everyhting was good again cause he was an "insider". I think he is on the outside looking in again, no one is givng him anything,(cause they are Stans people) and he is trying to rattle his sber and say hey you have to let me in....I will say bad things and make you unpopular if you don't!

I have to agree with you. I have always thought there was some fall out between Bernie and the Rams at some point. With the time Bernie has spent at the PD and connections he has developed I honestly think not having information about such a talked about topic is driving him to the point of creating this type of garbage.

Every article and comment he makes continues to take more and more of a negative tone towards the Rams and this stadium situation.

Not knowing what Stan is doing or thinking is probably driving him NUTS because he is supposed to be the guy who knows so much. I mean how does he go from calling everyone chicken little's one minute and to taking a complete 180 degree turn to "probably going to move"? Is Bernie doing his best to turn off the local's to the Rams in an attempt to give Stan the finger for all his silence?

I think Bernie knows about as much as me and you. No matter who his connections are, Stan is doing what Stan does best......Staying silent and working behind the scenes and it is driving him CRAZY. I just read Bernie's forum and he was asked why his tone has changed all of a sudden of the Rams moving and he said once he discovered the NFL assigned a top executive to the LA area. That was his reasoning for changing his view on things. Not insider info from one of his top sources, not a call or email exchanged with Kroenke, Demoff or any of the state officials......Common information that was provided to everyone.

I mean why wouldn't they assign a top executive to the situation. You will have 3 teams going on a year-to-year lease after this year. Things can and will get messy, to have someone assigned specifically to this situation is just taking a precautionary measure IMO. It would be dumb if they did not assign something. But if Bernie is jumping from they are staying to they are leaving at the drop of public information then he has no clue what is going on.

I have one question for Bernie....Why were you NOT at the Rams game? Home opener for the NFL, optimism, the stadium situation looming.......why wasn't he there digging for answers or reporting?

Which numbers make sense? Cause the only numbers I see are the ones that point to it not making sense, such as the relocation fee, no stadium, California's economy going down the tubes now even more because of the drought.

I mean the only thing going into the favor of leaving are the LA tv market. LA has shown in the past that it won't support a team at a venue, so why build a billion dollar piece of architecture if you won't fill it with fans?

I dont know much about the numbers as I haven't paid that much attention to the issue. Not until something more concrete happens, but right now it's just a bunch of speculation, and I take little stock in that. As of now I believe the Rams stay. That doesn't mean the numbers don't exist, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find, but you can manipulate the numbers anyway you want to show what you want it to show. That was more my point.

As for LA not supporting a team, that's not true when you look at the reasons and facts behind the issues (one being the Rams moved to fucking Anaheim, and that is NOT LA)... I won't get into that though, no need. As for California's economy, it's doing fine and has been. It's the largest economy in the US (of the states) and a top ten economy globally (only state to be ranked there) and has been growing for a while now, it's rebounded. CA is now operating in a several billion dollar surplus, so the economic situation isn't an issue whatsoever, and hasn't been for a while. The water issue is a problem, but in LA we steal all our water from up north. So even if the Rams don't come to LA, I hope a team moves sooner rather than later (because LA will be getting a team), so we can steal all the water from up north to make our field nice a green. Maybe we can make the 49ers play on dirt.

But on a serious note, if LA couldn't support a team the NFL wouldn't be pushing it. They are because they have long since done their homework on the matter. The NFL is all about making money, you better believe they're going to make sure LA makes them a nice fat stack. So the idea that LA can't support a team is silly. I understand we don't want the Rams to leave St Louis (again I don't want them to move either), but plugging our ears and pretending like it can't be done doesn't do anything. NFL is pushing it because they're seeing large profits for them, and it's based off a lot of research.

The NFL is pushing for a team in LA because it's the second largest TV market in the country. Goodell doesn't give a damn about you or me, or the teams. His only purpose is to keep the owners happy, and to keep them billionaires.

So as much as I hate it, if Stan wants the team in LA, he'll get it. Goodell might even waive the relocation fee, as he did for one team before (the team name escapes me right now.)

At 6'2 240lbs I've had my fair share over the years and I truly have not had worse. In fact one of the great things about Pizza is having it the next day something that is unpalatable with their product. I truly don't understand how they can sell any pizza, however, if you would like to extrapolate as to which pizza you've had that is worse I would like to know in order to avoid them too at all costs.

Exactly, they want to make money, and LA will do that for them. It's not just TV deals, that's small change for them. It's also merchandise and tickets and all that. There's a shit load of untapped money in LA right now. The sport teams are all doing very well financially, and the NFL knows it. When the LA Kings are the tenth most valuable NHL franchise, over a lot of other storied teams, including some Canadian ones, (also the only non traditional team in the top ten), and the Clippers sold for 2 billion, you bet your ass the NFL took notice and saw dollar signs. None of this means the Rams will move, but they're going to stick at least one team there.

I disagree. LA will support the team......if they WIN....that's why the town is Laker Town.....and like someone else said....NO....Disneyland ...er, I mean Anaheim (i.e. The OC) is NOT LA. Too many times you saw opposing fans (ie 49ers, bears, saints, etc) Take over the stadium in Anaheim......didn't really hear about that being a problem at the mausoleum in The hood of LA. ....and the whole GF saga I won't go into either...just like I know fans in STL go crazy over the Rams....if they WiN...other wise it's back to the red-birds they go. Even Jack Youngblood....YeS that Jack Youngblood...the JOHN WAYNE of football....said on an NFL Radio Network interview that the Rams WERE a top 10 NFL fan base until...GF happened....but I digress........WiN and they SHALL come...

Hi, I'm Bernie Miklasz here for the Wednesday edition of Breakfast with Bernie. Ning, ning, ninga, ning, ninga, ning, ninga. Neener, na neee, na nee neeeeee. Today we're going to talk about the Rams moving in a minute. But first, when I'm not recording Breakfast With Bernie or shamelessly hocking Papa John's pizza, I'm usually stroking it to midget porn and eating ranch Wheat Thins. The sausage fingers get me every time. Now back to the Rams....

Hmm the worst pizza I've ever had. That's tough, probably once at Pizza Hut when I picked up a slice and all the cheese/sauce/toppings fell right through the crust. I love Pizza Hut, but this was well below par.

Then another is Domino's Brooklyn crust. Way too thin and crunchy, and the slices weren't large enough to be considered Brooklyn. Pizza in NY always have some bread in their crusts and go over the plates.

Papa is not bad, I think they just try too hard in making it seem upscale and authentic. It's a chain, just own it. My biggest issue is the local Papa's is always a pain in the ass to order.

After every win:

Rams are going to stay, they're on the right track and Stan wants to keep the team here! He loves St Louis and the Rams are going to stay!

After every loss:

Rams are leaving, they can't win and fans are sick of it, why bother when Stan is obviously moving them to LA anyway. He hates St Louis and he wants to leave as soon as possible.

There I just saved everyone from needing to read every Bernie article of the season.
The only thing missing is complains about the food/spread for the press at team events

Worst pizza I have ever had is an easy one. Il Primo, a small local chain. They actually thaw out and heat up frozen pizzas in an oven......it's horrible but believe it or not they have followers. Yuck the shit is awful.
