Knox/ Harris 1974

edit... Actually back then we had a bunch of QBs, so can throw in Jaworski and Haden as well, although he may not have come into play until 75'.

To this day, the Rams of the 70's are still my favorite team. I am sure it's because that I was just a kid... 8-12 yrs old... but also because back then teams stayed together since there was no FA.

That team came so close so many times and then when they finally broke through they did so as underdogs as opposed to an underachieving contender as they often were.

Then in SB14, they played loose and aggressive and showed more heart in losing that game than in some of their past playoff wins. Was very proud after that SB.

Vermeil/Martz and Warner.

Watching football around my dad became vastly more tolerable in 99. After we won the super bowl he bought me Madden and I finally understood how the game was actually played (sort of, because it's Madden). In 00 I actually started watching on my own.

I've always liked the Rams, but understanding made me fall in love with them.

When I was 5 years old my grandpa turned me on to the GB Packers, the STL. Cardinals and the Boston Celtics. In 1968 my grandpa passed on due to cancer and Lombardi turned over the coaching duties and later went to Washington for a year before he also passed away.
In 1968 I was captivated by Roman Gabriel and became a Rams fan for life. George Allen was the coach. I am still a fan of the Cards and Celtics.

Knox and, well... James Harris was the starter but had an injured thumb so Jaworski started then he hurt his shoulder then Haden started. Confusing on who would start all year long but that was how 1976 went... my first full season on board.

John Robinson and Jim Everett. 1989, I loved the uniforms as a kid and immediately made them my team. Finding out about a WR named Flipper as a kid was about as cool as it got as far as I was concerned. Then learning about Ellard and him being better than Flipper, was a fun way to start my fandom.
