McVay preaches 3 phases, we show up with 2 1/2 and lost because of it. KW fumbled a win but FG team was the impetus for the 4th &1 in OT and the missed XP that would have won it in regulation.

McVay wasnt perfect, but the 18 pts left on the field between Karty, Corum, Kyren and the xp block was execution issues.

Kyren, after having a horrific drop earlier in the game (which led to the missed FG) turns around and fumbles the game away?

Nah man....this loss is squarely on Kyren. And obviously after the fumbling issues last year...yikes

Looking at that play and with how the whiners were lined up, Stafford should have had Williams run to the left side.
I think we thought they were sitting on the end around. We’ve run that end around on 4th and short like 100 times with McVay. 4th and 1 in the SB with Kupp. Puka scored on it vs Tenn. I think McVay thought they were going to be sitting on that and chose run it right up the gut instead.

How is Kyren not holding the ball with two hands on that goalline carry?? Like….what the fuck man.
Kyren is full of idiot mistakes. Last week he was lucky to not be called for taunting and what does he do this week? Taunts a defender at the goal line as he's scoring. You can't fix that kinda dumb stuff.

nah bro it was blocked... dude kicked open the door of the left side again and hakeem olajuwoned it. Same ol same ol.
However the kick was a tad low too. He really needs to kick it higher with the way the OL is blocking on the left side.

Put in Corum and have him bounce out right while Nacua and J Whitt block the edge.
They seemed to move away from Corum after the fumble. Which is understandable in the abstract. But not if you consider how they keep feeding Kyren who is the least trustworthy RB in the NFL. Corum's fumble wasn't even all on him. The dude has bricks for hands. Why are you pitching him the ball spinning end over end? Hand it off or at least lob it if you are going to toss.

Geezus guys take a breath.

We played awful and still should have won.

Lot of season left....Super aint won or lost in week 5......

Let the 9ers hang a banner for this game....whatever....
a) this is the vent thread and
b) you can't give away wins and then wonder why we are playing on the road in the playoffs for the third straight year

kicking game is why we are not 5-0... as much as everything else that went wrong.

We don't get kicks blocked we win both games.

Kendrick Bourne just had 10 catches for 143 yards. We lost the turnover battle 2-0. The team, yet again, plays down to an opponent. That's not giving me a relaxing feeling. It feels kinda like last year right now, unfortunately.

Don't forget the wet willy that thankfully did not draw flag against Philly (?) last playoffs. Very unintelligent player, which is why I think he is so bad at holding onto the football. He is too dense to learn from his own mistakes. He taunted again this week too. No football IQ.

i forgot about his bad dropped pass.

We never should have lost any of these games this year - that is what is so infuriating.

The reality is there should have been no over time. Lost 4 points on special teams. The offense continues to show up late. CB clearly not good enough when Mac Jones carves you up. Finally the overtime call......you have to make that yard running the ball. I am not even mad about that play call itself.
O Line play continues to disapoint.
Im sorry. You have to call your best play there. That with our line was not our best play. Know your limitation. You have to make that yard running? My ass

Oh stop it. We could easily be 5-0.
Its a loss, it sucks but we will make the playoffs.
I don't think we will. You can quote me on that at the end of the season. I'll be happy to eat crow.

The rams refuse to fix their glaring issues. Worst part is they beat us with mostly backups, a hobbled QB, and a team that quite frankly had no reason being in this game.

Williams fumbles, nope rams extend him.
Corrum isn't ready, he's just not, and the rams don't have Hunter ready to fill in. Coaching
Slow starts because our scouting dept sucks. I mean just look how we never adjusted on defense and the game plan was the opposite of what should have been called. Man to man is a concept that Shula should understand being their qb was hobbled and not threat to run. But no, everyone plays deep zones giving up 5 to 7 yards a play. It was embarrassing...
Mcvays play calling is terrible its like he doesn't know his own team at times.
Special teams, there's a tell somewhere the rams aren't seeing, either a snapcount, the way someone is sitting in their stance, the snapper or the kicker. Limmer didn't play tonight and either did Hav so we can't blame them.

The rams remind me of the Carroll Seahawks the last handful of years. Lots of lucky wins, sure some wins are deserved, but when your luck runs out you're just a .500 football team. And thats when coaches get fired.

If the rams can't turn this around and fix these issues I don't think we win more than 8 or 9 games this year. And even if we do make it the playoffs we lose first or second game.

You heard it here first

That's what I said. Don't get cute with the ball, just toss it to him. Regardless, he can get around the pile faster than Williams, so why not try running around when they think its going up the middle?
