For the life of me I just don't get how with this talent we can't bludgeon bad teams like in '17/'18...wtf!?

We had Todd Gurley.

Kyren is good. I get the anger behind the fumble, but he is still a very good back.

McVay having a game changer at running back changes everything. The offense can run through the back instead of the receiver

Look fellas, its better we get these kind of loses out of the way early in the season rather than later. Its a young team that is still finding its way to put teams away.
But, the players, Williams and Karty sure let Stafford down. He looked like he was having so much fun. I think he likes these 4th quarter comebacks. He did plenty enough to win.
And you can sure tell McVay was more than a little leery just letting our kicker tie the game. So he went for the win. Would I rather see Puka on a jet sweep, maybe. But Williams has been one of the very best RBs in the NFL on short yardage for awhile now.
Spend draft capitol on a dominating O line McSnead.
Then........................ our awesome 37 year old STUD of a quarterback might want to play until he is 42. Protect him and give him weapons.

Agreed, but those fumbles are killing us. The playoff game against the iggles, his fumble probably cost us that game and again tonight. He's a great back, tough runner, but those untimely fumbles may have cost us a super bowl last season and a critical game tonight. Not sure what to make of it. I love Kyren but I'm still in venting mode.

There are lots of great points on here.. about the *good* things….

And those are the reasons I’m incensed. Goddamn!!! Be better!

Having the opportunity to do something special is really precious… AND THEY ARE FUCKING IT UP.

The hard part to accept, is the #1 seed is out of reach more than likely. We may have trouble even winning the division at this point if we lose a game to the she hags or the tardinals. Not to mention we still have a tough schedule the rest of the way. The Rams have only beaten AFC teams so we lose all tie breakers against the NFC West teams right now. I hope this is a hiccup like 2021 when we were 7-1 and lost 3 in a row.

.

I bet kyren's wife doesn't let him do the groceries.

But he was moving backwards when the ball gets ripped out. It's a black and white call.

.

Yeah, but if he pushed forward and gained 5 more yards, I bet it would stand. It happens a lot, especially when teams send big players to push the pile forward.

"Spend draft capitol on a dominating O line McSnead"

I agree with this statement above all others.

When you have dominating OLmen, everything seems to fall into place.
When you don't (all due respect to Dedich, McClendon, etc . . . but . . .), you have issues - like

-a DLman getting into your backfield as your RB is taking a pitch forcing him to take his eye off the ball and . . . disastrous fumble.
-unable to move DL back to gain a yard or two in crucial situation.
-DLines blocking your FGs

So all this Kyren Fumbling issues shit. Since when is it OK to straight up target punch someone in the head and not even go for the ball? Call wasnt even reviewed. His arms went dead for a second on impact of the punch.

I can see what you are saying but he was looking to stretch his arm over the line and was hit doing it. It’s a mistake especially when running through so much traffic

49ners pretty much have the division locked now.

Their schedule is beyond easy.
Considering the Rams are 0-2 in the conference, 0-1 in the division, and 0-1 head to head…
It’s now an uphill battle like it was last year when the Rams came out of the gate losing NFC games.
