How about bothI'd love Jeremyiah Love or Tyson on this offense. Please don't ruin my wet dream just for imagining it lol
I concur but Kyren’s blocking especially blitz pickup is next level and too often overlooked. That two headed monster would be amazing! With our TEs and WRs together with Stafford, and an emphasis on the run game, we could look like Brady’s Patriots who were pretty much unstoppable. That system also benefitted Brady whose career was extended by rarely ever getting hitAs much as I like kyren, if Love is on the board when the Rams pick, they'd be fools not to take him. Kind of like when the Rams drafted Gurley. Yikes
He’s now ranked 3rd amongst College QBs by CBSI'm kind of curious as to why Haynes King doesnt get much hype. Kid's got serious wheels, decent arm strength and good size. Not saying he's a 1st rounder but that team is nothing without him
I don’t see Morris doing it either.I liked his film coming out. So I get why Morris drafted him. But this recent interview and his comments are a bad indicator for him because I doubt Morris would leave his young QB all alone. Just doesn't wash given what I think of Morris. Which means you may be right about him not being a leader but time will tell.
Muscle memory is extremely difficult to fix, unless it’s something minor.Don't draft a QB intending to fix his throwing motion. That is one of those things that almost never is fixable by the time a guy makes the NFL. Draft him if you think you can win with that throwing motion.
Not sure about this. Why would we pay a QB who has been injured over 30% of his career to this point. He ain't gonna get more durable as he gets older, although I think we could protect him better than the Bungles. I just hes too brittle, could be wrong though.Yes, if the Burrow option does actually arise, it must be done.

Bengals are not trading Joe Burrow, he is there franchise. Durability somewhat of an issue, but the Bengals cannot fix the OL that has been a project for them lasting longer than the Big Dig. Mike Brown is not a great owner, but his daughter, Katie Blackburn has taken over for the most part and I don't see her allowing a trade for Burrow, who is from Ohio and currently the Bengals meal ticket. Not sure about this. I would love Mendoza in this offense. Dude hasn't really faltered this season and is about to be on the big stage in the CFP. I'll be very interested in how he performs.I don’t see it personally but could Mendoza fall in range of the our first pick because teams fall in love with one or two QBs ahead of him? It can depend on the system (think the Cardinals then head coach and amulet Murray). For me, at least, Mendoza looks like a fantastic fit for McVay and what we do. Perhaps he can be better than Goff who is woefully underrated as a QB in this league - a perception that will only change if he wins a SB with the Lions. Sound familiar?
One thing for certain, the Rams love a player who transfered to prove their worth against better competition. Mendoza has done that and has the kind of arm talent, moxy and functional athleticism that McVay desires
Honestly, I hadn't heard of the guy they have at #1 - Joe Fagnano (unfortunate name IMO). Looking at his game log and the kid can ball apparently. 25/1 TD/INT ratio is absurd. Of course, he hasn't played against top notch competition, but I'll have to look into him as he is a Senior and has great size. It appears he has some rushing ability also. He’s now ranked 3rd amongst College QBs by CBS
I was on Mendoza early, great size, arm strength and even better from the neck up, plus can extend plays with his legs. IMO, he will be the first QB taken off the board.I would love Mendoza in this offense. Dude hasn't really faltered this season and is about to be on the big stage in the CFP. It would be nice but I don't think Mendoza has a snowball's chance in hell of sliding outside that top 3. He's got it all. I think he's the slam dunk top pick, unless he suffers an injury or takes a major nosedive in his game which seems unlikely.I don’t see it personally but could Mendoza fall in range of the our first pick because teams fall in love with one or two QBs ahead of him? He took a hit yesterday in his stock, no doubt about it. His problem is that being on the small side and not having an elite arm means your film has to put you up there to go at the top. So he could still go in the top group I'd say if he finishes strong, but if not then McVay will have a shot at him.I have to watch Ty Simpson more, but against Oklahoma yesterday, it appeared, he had trouble anticipating the rush, which IMO, is the reason, he fumbles so much. That one play from the right side, howe did he not see that coming? Now, I need to see more, but against the Sooners yesterday was not Ty Simpson's finest hour.
My concern with Klubnik is his arm strength. His ball seems to float a lot, but outside of that I don't think he's been as terrible as some have said. Seems like a second tier type, maybe third tier if his arm strength is suspect. He can get it there on a deep out but seems to have zero room for error. The dudes with the power arms basically have a bigger window to make those challening throws because they can muscle them on a flatter trajectory. Is Klubnic a dark horse for our offense? He has vastly underperformed vs preseason expectations. He probably does not have time to turn his season completely around - so will probably be available later than where we pick. He’s supposed to be whip smart, dedicated to watching film, has more experience than most prospects and clearly has talent
