Kyren Williams run on 4th & 1 from the 11.Troy Aikman even showed on the reply. Steve Avila had already opened up the hole !!
He & the O”Line got such a big surge DJ’s guy crossed Avila’s back to make the tackle.
We’ve seen from The Past what LT means to Sean Mcvays TEAMS!! First season without the PLAYER we don’t need to name.

Alaric Jackson & Kyren Williams were EXCELLENT RAM signings. They have given The Rams time to build DEPTH!! IMO having Alaric Jackson signed & Warren McClendon in his last season.Add Big Rob is basically out the door into Retirement!! The Rams need a swing Tackle or LT of the future!!!

The Rams kept a lot of Offensive Lineman.Building on Depth with less O”Lineman in 2026 would help all the way across the board.

Jeremiyah Darnell Love is that RB. He can do it all. I also like that Notre Dame did not overuse him because of Jadarian Price. Would be nice to add a little love to the RB room.
His size, speed and the fact that he didn't ever fumble at ND make him pretty attractive at # 12-13 ....... if he's still there.

It’s NOT telling about J. Hunter. We have a solid RB group.

Ferguson was a luxury pick as well as Hunter. What have we LEARNED about this RAMS TEAM in 2025 ? IMO they have more depth than some still realize.

Sean Mcvay knows what this group is ALL ABOUT! IMO I think WE will learn how TOUGH this TEAM is & there GRIT !!!

My post going into that Atlanta game was exactly what hay.I saw DJ Humpries on that blocked FG which IMO really changed The Rams season.
Saw him 1 play against Detroit after that when Alaric Jackson got rolled up on ? I just saw him lying on the field & thinking The Rams season could be OVER just like that.
Big Rob is a Big Question mark ? Higbee is a question mark. What WE don’t know is if there ready,or will ever play with THE RAMS again ??
That said letting them play against Arizona IMO is a MUST if it’s to happen & NO INJURIES!!!

My TAKE is The Rams Draft THE BEST TACKLE in 2026 !!

It makes me LAUGH MY FREAKING AZZ OFF some posters that want to CRITICIZE this RAMS RB group !!
Look at the LAST 3 SEASONS!! Kyren WILLIAMS is TOP 5 RB’s in the RED ZONE !!
On that RUN 4th & 1 from the 11 yard line.It was DJ Humpries who let the DE get inside & make that tackle.KYREN had set that up inside & made a delayed move to cut it back right to left.If ALARIC JACKSON was playing The RAMS WIN by 14.
You & I are on the same page about KW. He's honestly one of the most gifted RB's we've ever had. He's like what Mariano Rivera was to Roger Clemens--a closer who can shut the door on the other team.
But, we do not agree about Hunter. Even in garbage time McVay won't use him. Here's his 2025 offense stats, for reference:

Have you EVER seen a completely blank season's stat sheet for even a guy like Rivers? and FWIW he has all of 6 ST snaps in the Titans game, with 0 tackles.
Something is seriously wrong with him. I had hopes, and the coachspeak says he just hasn't had the opportunities, but c'mon, he's not even a ST contributor on one of the worst ST squads in the NFL.
I have nothing against the guy at all.... just pointing out what the data shows.

The way the Rams draft WRs in the mid to late rounds, I'd much rather target one there. Early picks, when you have more than 1, need to go to the best player available IMO - because with 2 darts to throw, odds are one of those players is going to fill a prime position of need anyway. We have too many holes and areas needing depth to worry about any 1 positional need too much (corner might be the exception, I think we need 1 for sure of our first 3 picks) - welcome to life in a salary cap era, where even all the best teams have true vulnerabilities. Remember when Donald and Gurley were luxuries?

All things being equal, with our first 3 picks, assuming we keep them all, I'd prefer a corner, a tackle, and a big defensive lineman in the interior in the Michael Brockers category, someone that will let us still stop the run when Poona Ford is gimpy or unable to suit up at all, but if spending a 1st round pick on him, ought to be able to pass rush to a decent extent as well.

Very good RB FA Class this year. Would love to get someone there too if affordable.
We have drafted one mid to late round WR who has turned into a top player. One! The rest our JAGs who can play small roles in this WR friendly offense. BTW, I don't consider Kupp a mid to late rounder. 3rd rd WR should help, and even if you include him, you have two guys in 9 drafts.

This front office's draft report card also includes whiffing on two 2nd rounders in Jefferson & Atwell.

It's very possible that there's a run on QB's this year in the top 10 -- so, so many teams need QB's it's ridiculous.
But I still think that, to be sure we get Love, we'd have to move up as high as #6.
And I think he'd be a great RB, we'll just have to see after the combine. Just watched his highlights.... great. But not Saquon or Gurley great--TGII's college highlights were the most amazing college RB highlights I've ever seen. He's even got a TD pass on his stat sheet.

Jackson is 27 years old. He is the LT of the future.

We need a WR and CB and are in great position to fill those needs. Expecting Stafford to play for 3-4 more years. This draft could help setup a sustained run of very high level success.

There is ZERO chance they draft a RB in the 1st round. The RB's McVay has fit the exact scheme he is wanting to run.

I think I agree with that. Evidence was last night. They were clearly doubling Puka and Staff's only other option was KW. With Adams out, we are thin at playmakers for certain. Jordyn Tyson would look good in Horns. Also, the big rumor about McVay tying to sell the farm to grab Tet would suggest this is a big chance.

Oh, you mean unlike Tutu who just accepted that he had DPI done to him and lived with it, rather then throwing hands in the air and getting refs to throw that flag. Sorry to say it, but, bye bye Tutu.
Tutu waving and complaining wasn't going to change anything. You see WRs crying for a flag all the time and it changes nothing. There was a ref right there but his angle wasn't where he could see the guy holding Tutu's arm. The guy was beat and unfortunately, no other official had an angle to call it

No...what I think is you had plenty of other options to attack the Falcons, though getting KW out of the backfield was great. It's not Tutus fault McVay didn't use him more. Also what about Whittington and other options? How about the pretty bogus holding call on Humphries when Puka caught that bomb TD? He didn't hold, the guy simply went down to draw the penalty.

You saw the game...the Rams simply didn't execute well enough. It's simply a game where they weren't ON THEY'RE GAME, and it showed.

But based on what you are saying - they drafted two of the best WR's the NFL has seen in the past 10-15 years? In the 3rd round and 5th round? Say what you want about Jefferson, he was a key cog to our success in 2021. Injuries derailed him and he never recovered. Prior to that, he was a dangerous deep threat.

Ya I also wouldn't mind a top WR like Tyson or the 6'3 OH kid (Carnell Tate) who looks like a Tet clone.
A WR line up of Puka - Adams - Tate would be sick.

So I have learned the Rams will win the Super Bowl this year if they are healthy. They just need everyone back for their run. No one wants to play a healthy rams team in the playoffs.

As for next year I hope Stafford/Adams/Mcvay come back with mostly the same team ready to run it back.

Zero times Zero equals Zero.

IMO it doesn’t reflect his upside & how good he is or will be.I’ll stick to how good The Rams players that are in front of J. Hunter.I won’t let ZERO stats on how lucky The Rams are to have there RB depth.

If you think I’m disagreeing with the Rams drafting a RB it’s opposite.

A WR ?? I don’t see the Value there.

A CB ? The Rams seem to like brining players up..What happens with Durant is going to be a question. They still have Ahkello & Forbes next season. That said if there is a CB that has value you draft them.

Trade a good pass rusher, a 1st and a 2nd for a guy who will be 29 at the start of next season AND will eat our cap?

Pass.
The two most loaded positions in round 1 in this draft are probably WR and Edge. We have two first round picks.

Of course we need OT and CB as well, to a greater extent. But corner's a deep group and there's no slam dunk type OTs, so if we go with a guy like Fano there's quite a bit of projection involved.

Rams are always hard to read. But bottom line I wouldn't trade either of our first round picks this offseason. We need to hit on young elite players.

KW did not close the door on the Niners. He gave them the win and where would we be with that win ?

Loves college stats are on par and actually slightly better than Gurley's minus the knee issue. Not saying anything is guaranteed but Love is that good. Hopefully your love for Kyren isn't blinding you to Love lol.

KW is a really good back but when he gets an opening, no one can tell me that he's taking it to the house. We need that kinda threat. We just personally witnessed that when Robinson did it to us the last game.
