I mean, they can say that all they want.....truth is, Evans hit one of the worst punts I've ever seen. We punted from the 15, punt was fielded at the 43 - that is a 42 yard punt that was a LINE DRIVE. Not sure it would have mattered who our gunners were on that one.
Exactly. The coverage was shit but the punt was tailor made for a return. Evan’s to his credit has had some great kicks this season but that kick was a complete brain fart. If he kicks it out of bounds it could have changed the outcome. Can’t undo what has been done but the Rams should bring in competition for Evan’s this summer before they give him a new contract. He has a huge leg but he lacks consistency. As for the Seahawks FTH!

After the game, Rashid Shaheed basically admitted they were running toward Derion Kendrick (#21) on the punt return TD. He said, “We’ve been focused on that left return, field return all week. We knew they had kind of a weak point with their special teams.”

The left gunner on that return was Kendrick, and we ran straight at that side. This is likely why we cut him. If you go back to the TD return the Titans had against us, Kendrick failed to set the edge and they scored.

Watching this again, Seattle got away with some ridiculously blatant holding on Kendrick. The dude bearhugged him and then grabbed the jersey near his shoulder pad and held on for dear life when Kendrick tried to disengage. I didn't want to go back to complaining about the refs, but what the f*ck were they watching on this play? They sure managed to flag us for special teams penalties.

The Officials again did the Rams no favors in that game, but I have grown accustom to them doing that pretty consistently.

This is why I was so mad at Puka. He was right for sure - but there is a penalty committed on every single play in the NFL. Every play. I don't subscribe to the theory that refs consciously influence a game, but if I was a ref after that comment from Puka, I would absolutely start seeing more of the infractions committed by the Rams.

Fun fact.....Sunday was only the second time all year we got called for more penalties than our opponent (Tampa had 2, we had 3). Earlier this year against Seattle we both had 6.

On Thursday night we were called for the most penalties all year (8) - we have had 7 a few times - and Seattle was called for 5. THIS is why that comment was so dumb IMO. Infractions are committed on every play - no need to draw the ire of officials so that they start "seeing" them more often.

den the coach just couldn't wait to post something negative on kendrick...

the title "we targeted derion kendrick...." is an absolute lie...

the coach never said that.. his quote ended with "left side"

that was an internet posters take... but don't let den the coach pass on some good fake kendrick news...

and then the inevitable truth surfaces, and den has to walk it back...

kendrick was double teamed and blatantly held... maybe watch the vid you post before you post...

maybe even break it down like mcvay (a real coach) most likely did, and knew what transpired on the play...

i'll guarantee he didn't throw the kid under the bus, like many here do regularly...

im thankful i'm not the only one in this thread that saw through your BS... and absolute garbage post

maybe take it up a notch... before you post your next headline...

hang in there derion... i'm not the only one that hopes for your success...

go rams
