No they didn't... stop trying to change what happened with fantasy.

Go back and listen to what Carton said.... "The office in NY called in and made them find a penalty that was NOT CALLED ON THE FIELD".

Do I need to post it again? It's on page 1 of this thread for those who wish to hear it for themselves what was ACTUALLY SAID.

Talk about trying to move the goal posts. GTFO
Moving what goal posts?
First it was said penalties arent reviewable, which isnt true
Lead official Craig Wrolstad explained it like this after the game.
“It’s my job to see if the quarterback stopped initially. The down judge watches the player in motion, and we had to communicate between him, my umpire, and my line judge whether or not he initially stopped at the quarterback position and then whether he stopped after he went in motion out of my view toward the left-hand side of the field. There was a little bit of confusion in our discussion whether he had stopped initially or whether he had stopped at the end and what we were talking about. That’s why the flag came in so late.”

Dan clearly stated that the REF TOLD HIM THAT NY CALLED IN AND MADE THEM REVERSE THE TD BY CALLING A PENALTY.

Why are you ignoring THAT VITALLY IMPORTANT part?

Yes, there was. It came late

No it didn't. The on field refs announced it after being instructed by the office in NY. That is the first time that ANYONE knew there was a penalty. That is why Dan asked for clarification. If a flag was laying on the field it certainly wouldn't have been confusing or required a replay of the TD.

I just posted what the lead official said

Believe whatever you want.

Saying "The flag came in late", isn't the same a actually throwing the flag. No flag was thrown on that fucking play.

The ref told Dan C that the reason there was a minute and 15 seconds to look at the replay was happening is because - THE NY OFFICE CALLED IN TO THEM AND MADE THEM CALL THE PENALTY.

Hello... is anybody home???????

I'm out on this stupid ass roundrobin of ignoring WHAT WAS SAID TO DAN BY THE FUCKING REF.

Ignore whatever the fuck you choose.

No penalties are reviewable in the NFL. There was 1 year that the league allowed a challenge on Pass Interference calls (a challenge)... and that was thrown out at the end of that season. Carton knows the NFL rules and he was shocked to hear that the NFL wasn't following their own rules.

That was the point Carton was making and he is absolutely correct. Clearly it went over many people's heads though. It appears as though some people hate this man so much that they allow the hate to blind themselves.

It's not a good look, and it also shows ignorance when you call someone out for not knowing the rules... when in fact... they actually DO KNOW the rules and presented it correctly. Poor form on your part at minimum.

The guy is having a hissy fit because of what the caveman said in the presser. The refs said they got together after the td and decided the play was an illegal shift. It's an obscure rule so that's plausible. Maybe new York gave them an assist in the ruling and it got lost in the translation.

We don't know what they told the caveman, or what actually happened. It's all speculation. The refs said they didn't get any message from new York. Who ya gonna believe?

So the caveman is lying.

I'll just say this... that mother fucker isn't smart enough to lie.

That's why when reporters have asked him about it since then... you know what his response is now????

"IM NOT ALLLWED TO COMMENT ON THAT"

Seems like caveman is lying to you huh. I'm not surprised.

When you lose a stupid argument... just attack the person's character. Nice.

I'm not attacking his character. I said maybe it got lost in translation.

So you're saying the refs are lying?

Calling him a caveman... what do you label that as? It's definitely not proving anything about what happened with the refs. Trying to make him seem like a small brained idiot actually makes what he said even more believable. You were definitely not paying him a compliment.

The refs weren't lying. They told Coach Caveman that NY called in and told them to call the penalty. Stop trying to act like that hasn't been clearly established from the beginning here. The refs told him exactly what happened and when asked... Coach Caveman shared exactly what he was told.

First... I was told by several, that penalties ARE reviewable. I proved that was WRONG. Hell, one of you helped prove it for me... whoever it was must not have even taken the time to understand what the article they posted actually stated. At least I got a tiny laugh out of that... but then I realized that I was trying to explain something to someone who wasn't even reading the article they posted. That makes me a glutton for punishment.

Now... the same kind of childlike arguments are coming up by making it seem as though Dan C is just a dumbass caveman. As if he didn't know exactly what was said to him. That's fucking the lamest thing said so far. He's no Einstein for sure... which makes it all the more obvious that he was just parroting what he was told without even realizing that he was telling on the league. I do agree that part slipped right by his simpleton way of thinking... but that simpleton way of his also tells me that he isn't going to make something up or straight up lie about what the ref said to him. He told the truth.

Today when asked about what he said... Coach Caveman has made it clear that the league has told him he is not allowed to comment on it anymore. Fascinating.

It's clear to most that have working brain cells that the league was breaking their own rules and now they are silencing everyone involved. If you can't see that... that's your problem.

I'm done arguing with a brick wall that has no real opposing comments other than to resort to name calling. That is what losers do when they have nothing else to add to a discussion... especially when I already called out the lame goal post moving jackassery. Keep on pretending that you don't see what happened. I don't give a flying fuck.

Someone is lying. And the refs and the league have far more motive to lie then Campbell does. I'm not normally a conspiracy theorist, but this stinks badly.

So you're saying the ref lied to the media? He said they weren't tipped off by new York.

All tds are reviewable. This happened after a td. They weren't sure if there was a foul, had a chat then called a foul. Happens all the time. Maybe new York told them what actually happened then they called a foul. Doesn't mean they told them to call a foul.

This all comes down to what the refs told caveman, what caveman told the media and what the ref told the media. Good luck.

I'm not gonna have a hissy fit about it like baldy.

.
And again, plenty of penalties are reviewable. Only subjective ones aren't reviewable.

.

.

BTW @Selassie I what are you getting so worked up about? We always joke how the nfl helps mahommes as he is the new golden boy. Baldy isn't telling us anything we didn't already know.

But to compare that incident to what the cheats did and say it's actually worse, he can fuck off.

ZERO PENALTIES ARE REVIEWABLE.

Already proven and put to bed.

So pathetic.
