There’s more than one.

The high comedy part is dragging a coordinator running a unit that has the pieces he’s working with.

What’s the offense’s excuse?
Was it the offense that gave up 14pts, allowed nearly 12-minutes of possession and 192 yards in the fourth quarter?

Well it seems the press is actually calling out the refs and the horrible spot. The NFLs current response "Go watch tennis princess." Seems abit shallow.

If the refs are really against us can’t we get Blueface (whoever that is) to bribe them? He seems to have some dosh to chuck about.

No but it was the offense that managed to only score 8 points in the entire second half... Again.

.

still hard to believe this d made that putrid offense look like the 23 dolphins offense.

how is it even possible?

.
Is that a fair assessment? 17 of their 24 points came from field position (one drive started at the goal line)

NO.
Matt Gay would have made the two FG's and extra point, resulting in 7 points more for the Rams. Plus, not giving the Steelers excellent field possession after the two missed FG's. It would have changed the complexion of the game, confidence wise with Matt Gay in automatic mode.
Well I have to disagree with the extra point giving them an extra point since they went for two on the next TD and made it to make up for the extra point. But being down by 1 would have really put in me in a pissed off mood with the refs calls even more so since we would only need a FG

For those who want to blame McVay, a coach can only do so much. Lets be real about it. The talent level isn't good enough to sustain a win streak. Especially on defense.

This isn't the only loss we will have against a mid level team. Looking at the schedule there are a number of teams who are at the level of .500 or worse. I guarantee as much as we will win some of those games, we're also going to lose some them.

There are also a few teams who are better than .500 and we're likely not gonna win any of those games. We were warned this team was not gonna be that good.

The way I see it, we shouldn't be all that upset about losing to a team better than we are. We are at about the level of those Jeff Fisher teams that could only manage 7 wins.
Unfortunately I have to agree with you

Before the season started, I said we would probably only get 7 wins with a chance to get 10 if our defense comes together

After a couple hours sleep , I’m over yesterday’s pathetic second half. It’s the first time in years that I quit watching after the Rams went 3 and out with 5 minutes and change left. I’ve seen this ending too many times. Never mind , I’m still pissed off and now I get to see all the Squeeler fans everywhere I go. Dammit

I know this a vent thread but I'm not buying this.

If this is not a .500 team so not going to see much more Ws? I don't think this team is so far behind others to lose so much more.

If Puka wins ROTY. And Cooper is still doing his thing. Darrell returns and Kyren comes back. Good things will happen in turn. Should be more dubs.

This team is also talented enough to beat any other team. Especially this year.
Congrats on your win yesterday.

McVay needs to dust off the 2017-2018 play book and get some creativeness to this offense again. Obviously this whole "we have Staff so we don't need to be as deceptive bc we can win off talent alone" approach is not working. Our offense has too much talent to struggle this much.

I almost want to stop watching Ram home games because I am sick and tired of the announcers talking about how many visiting fans are at the game.

I have to say though - when I went to the Arizona Rams game in Arizona last year - there were a lot of Rams fans at that game

But they also wouldn't have scored as many points because of our missed FG's giving them advantageous field positions. I mean, they only had to get one or two 1st downs to get three points or better. That's at least a 6 point swing....

Oh I am 100% agreed with you on the missed FGs - it was just the extra point I disagreed with

Of course, if they failed on the 2 pt conversion, I would have blamed Maher on 2 more points due to 1 missed extra point
