If I KNEW we were going to run on every single first down, then the Bills must have been ecstatic about it. I mean, first down, run up the middle. No gain, or short gain. Have to become more creative than that.
Nah, RB's go later nowadays.
Not saying you need a Gurley freak type, just a LaGarret Blount type would help.
Oh, and my other huge disappointment is Edwards. He looks miscast as an OG. Just gets stood up too easily. Looks like he's is a RT.
I wonder if they would consider Jackson there or he may have the same issue.
I doubt they would move Havenstein inside even though a few yrs ago they dabbled with it.

Not going to get to bent out of shape over Game 1.
It’s obvious the Bills were pumped and more prepared. The Rams are going to get everyone’s best shot that’s for sure. Still drives me nuts that it sounded like an away game for the Rams. Aggravating.
This Oline will struggle against the more physical fronts. They struggled last year as well with the beefier units. I’ve accepted that. Running inside might be tough with this unit. Although Henderson had some success on the pitch outs. Maybe that’s the way to go.
Was it me or did it look like Stafford should’ve pulled the trigger on a couple of crossers to Robinson?
Thought we’d go to a quicker passing game after about... oh, I don’t know... the 4th sack?
I’m concerned about Stafford’s arm. His passes looked a little funny coming out of his hand on some of his throws. Hope I’m wrong.
I’m not concerned about Noteboom. He’ll get better as the year progresses. Von Miller is a Hall of Famer.

Do you invest another 3rd in a back when you don’t know what he’s gonna look like?
They invested in the line.. and that guy got hurt. Hard to say what impact he would’ve had.

Ok...for example. The Cards drafted Keontay Ingram out of USC in round 6. He is 6'-0 220 lbs. They seem to like him.
And I am not saying a guy like that is expected to come in and start, but he gives you a diff option down the road. And a diff look when you may need it later in the season if the blocking remains sub par.

The bill's had the off season to prepare for this game while we were doing pizza commercials and lifting weights with C-List movie stars. And it showed. All preseason Morris was clowning around doing interviews on the sideline barely paying attention to the game.
The Rams are still in celebration mode and the rest of the league will race passed them if they don't get serious and play the way we all know they can.

I don’t understand that shit. Don’t need to be Hollywood on the field its time to f’kn game now. Stop with all the media BS and start playing some football. Its really that simple.
I had hoped for a big Ram-fan turnout and lots of noise, but as I listened to a Buffalo radio show just now, the guy told me there were (in his estimation) around 3000 bills fans that traveled from Buffalo and around 20,000 more that attended the game. He said it sounded like a Bills home game, and that the Ram fans were very quiet. I understand that the team got beaten badly, but it was 10-10 in the third quarter. I just think the team might play better with some support instead of wondering why they are always playing away. JMO

Knowing that, it really shouldn’t have surprised anyone that the Bills Mafia packed SoFi Stadium for the first game of the 2022 season on Thursday night. Bills fans always travel well, but they weren’t going to miss the chance to see their team face the defending Super Bowl champions in the opener.
They were loud, too. It was to the point that the Rams needed to use a silent count on offense, being unable to verbally communicate at the line. Matthew Stafford said the team prepared for it, saying the crowd noise didn’t have an impact on the Rams.
“No, we prepared for it,” he said. “We were prepared to be on the silent count at home again, but it wasn’t something that we haven’t done before.”
His coach, Sean McVay, seems to disagree. After the game, McVay was asked about the Bills’ constant pressure applied on Stafford, regularly beating the Rams’ pass protection to the tune of 15 QB hits and seven sacks.
McVay blamed himself for his play calling and situational awareness, but he also mentioned the fact that the Bills were able to jump the snap when the Rams were on a silent count.
“I think it’s a combination of a lot of things,” McVay said of whether the sacks were on the line or Stafford holding the ball. “I think first and foremost, I look at myself inwardly, ‘Did you give yourself a chance to settle into a rhythm or were they able to tee off?’ There were some instances where we’re on our silent count, they did a good job being able to jump the count. Bottom line is we’ve all got to be a little bit better.”
Even with all the pressure the Bills applied, they did so without blitzing a single time all night. That’s perhaps the most impressive part of the way they played on defense. McVay once again brought up the silent count, though not to use it as an excuse.
“Oh yeah, they didn’t rush five really at all tonight,” McVay said. “For them to be able to do that it’s a real credit to them. We’re on our silent count. Whatever I’m going to say right now is going to be an excuse. I think I put our guys in too many of those tough situations. Credit to Von (Miller) and their rush. They did an outstanding job. They’re an excellent defense, but we’ve got to be better and it starts with me.”
Stafford might feel like it didn’t hurt the Rams offense, but Bills fans were loud when Los Angeles had the ball. It should be the other way around, with Rams fans making life tough for the opposing offense, but they just don’t have much of a home-field advantage when fanbases like Buffalo’s come to town.
