I still don’t get why we’d go after a TE. Andrews might be an upgrade but it would be at the expense of our other young TEs. Frankly, Andrews has been one of the few receiving weapons Baltimore has had during his tenure. Would he even get close to as many targets on our team? I highly doubt it.

Baltimore is also only 2 games out in their division with a very real potential to take it. Why would they get rid of ANY true weapons?

I don’t see us going after someone like TJ Hockenson either.

If they are going after someone, it will either be a true need (cough cough CB) or someone who truly tips the scales. Neither of these guys fill that bill.
With Ferguson starting to break out, I think we can mark TE off the list, unless there's a stud TE available that we'd want to keep to pair with Ferguson in the future.

I think the big target over the middle is a potential concern for this offense because Puka is already beat up. Higs is completely hit and miss. Allen's solid but a bit plodding in the pattern. Ferg may be ready to make a move and I hope he is, but I don't want to hit the playoffs and need to play a game where we may not have Puka and are relying on the rest of them to not be sent home.

Don't like Hockenson. Only piece who is worth it, to my eye, is Andrews. Also I don't think it's likely to happen. But if it does happen I think it would pay off big time.

Would be nice to have a veteran WR with size. A guy like Josh Reynolds, but more reliable. He drops too many passes.

Heard Calvin Ridley is available. Not the biggest guy but definitely not small. Definitely a deep threat. Only thing is how big his contract is. However that may also mean he could be had for less of a draft pick as a result. Gonna be interesting to see if the Rams make another move or stand pat.

LMFAO - unbelievable

Seems likely we will make a trade....we are set at TE though between Ferguson and Allen.

I think hedging against another Puka injury would be good, so I'd see what the asking price for Waddle would be. I'm sure its a first and I wouldn't want to pay that, but seeing what else is out there would be good.

I would dangle our first for Denzel Ward. Whether the Browns trade him or not, who knows - but IMO with that level of CB, we would be come Super Bowl favorites.

The only thing LOL ! That’s not the only thing.Yesterday showed where The Rams are at as a TEAM !!

I guess if Puka was hurt from falling on The ball & had a chest injury causing him to miss games.

Having the bye week after the Jags game really helped The Rams put different plays in place.

Mcvay had a lot of 13 personnel.Saw early in the game Adams on the sideline. The rotation were interesting.
The 1 play on the deep ball is an example of what The Rams are missing for NOW.Tutu Atwell is sitting SO he can be healthy for The Playoffs.

Just don’t see The Rams making a move for a WR & especially a TE!!

Will say Big Rob Hav being back in the lineup was Nice to See.He & Higbee play SO well next to each other after all those seasons together.

The concern is the DEPTH at Tackle, which The Rams will need to address imo in 2026 draft.WATCHING Humpries at RT on the FG try Seriously exposed how BAD he is. Blackburn needs to GO as well a Special Teams coach. The Rams really need to sure up there FG kicking. They went from swift kicking it to kicking it out of the End Zone giving teams the ball on the 35.

Agree about the TE move not happening but I could see a WR move. Ridley would be a massive upgrade as a WR3. Not saying it's going to happen or anything, but he's a better WR than Tutu and actually has the speed and body size to endure the physicality of the NFL. Hate to say it, Tutu is done with us after this year. Only thing he's done well is be a decoy and a very sparesly used deep threat. The money we paid him would have been better used to upgrade our secondary but now I'm delving into a "beating a dead horse" conversation lol

YEAH - it’s UNBELIEVABLE to me some of the thoughts. It’s like saying The Rams need a RB when it comes to The TE position. They have 4 TE’s in there rotation & running a heavy 12/13 personnel on Offense Right Now.Allen being a STUD.Parkisian just a solid Run Blocker with good hands.Higbee being Higbee.Ferguson is creating match up problems on defenses.

I get The WR thoughts, but Konta is still a rookie. Whittington is a grinder type of WR likes. He blocks well with good hands.

Talking about CB though. It’s time to get REAL here. The Rams just made a Big move there.McCreary
just depth for right now.He has to EARN a spot, but E. Forbes continues to get BETTER!! His int & cover skills were on display.Coming up on a run play holding the Edge showed how much more physical he is playing.
D.Williams is banged up & maybe then there might be a need. The thing is he is healthy & AHKELLO is coming back.Tutu & Ahkello are underrated Rams, that will shine in time.

I'd see if the Packers are willing to trade a WR. Even with the Jayden Reed injury, they have a lot of players at the position. Dontayvion Wicks could be a good hedge for a Puka injury. Don't know what sort of compensation they'd want for him. I'll also throw out Adonai Mitchell. Colts have basically benched him since he dropped the ball short of the end zone against us. He's a young player who has made a lot of mistakes, but he's also very talented. If they're giving up on him and willing to trade him cheap, I'd see what he could do with Davante and Puka's guidance.

Why do we want another WR again?

We have 2 1s, we are running this 13 personnel down peoples throats, and we still have a capable rest of the WR room with quality guys.

I’m always interested in getting better - especially when the window is open like it is right now - but I’m not seeing the tight end or WR angle.

Maybe another dangerous situational piece on the defense ….

I'd kill for Romeo Doubs.

No way I take Adonai Mitchell, no matter how good he was at Texas.

The WR piece is for depth and allows us to give multiple looks on offense if needed. Puka plays like a runaway freight train so there's always a concern with injury. Also, there's no telling if our TEs don't get nicked up. Strengthening our offense in any way imaginable isn't the worst idea.

Romeo Doubs would be crazy but we know the Pack ain't gonna help us like that. My opinion is if we do go after a WR, Ridley or Meyers may be the only 2 we look at. I'm sure we could also include Waddle but my guess there is Miami wants too much for him.

Waddle is another top choice. I only wonder how much it would cost, but imagining Nacua, Adams, and Waddle? That's completely unfair for opposing secondaries.

Feels like WR isn’t as plug and play as other positions. Plus, who are we cutting to make room?

Fucking Bungles....reports were they were more open to trading Hendrickson but keep asking for the same compensation.....dumbasses

We don't have to cut anyone as of yet; we released Tre Brown and put Atwell on IR, while gaining McCreary. So, we still have one spot open, I believe (unless Ronnie Rivers has taken that spot).

If we did have to cut and/or trade someone, I imagine it would be one of our offensive tackles (Humphries or Quessenberry) or even Desjuan Johnson, who has lost his playing time completely to Larrell Murchison.

EDIT: And like others have said, maybe we're auctioning a tight end so Fergy gets more time. Parkinson would be my choice, but Davis Allen is another option, as much as I hate to say it.

Couldn't tell you who we'd cut but I'm sure there's plenty of options there if the Rams truly believe they are adding more firepower. Not like we would cut a foundational piece.

I'd be kinda upset if the Rams trades for a WR or TE at this point. We're loaded at both positions and we have other needs if we want to win this year. Not saying we can't do it with our current group. However, I'd feel a lot better trading for a top talent DB than a mid range TE or WR.
