The real question is, do we get to wear our throwbacks in our first playoff game?
Yes. The throwbacks are the primary home uniform this season, they wore white the first 2 home games because of the weather. Personally I wouldn't mind the color rush uni's.

Throwbacks as in our 1999 yellow and blue? I sure hope so. I'm pretty sure we actually win a lot in those uniforms. Yes I realize your clothing doesn't make you win or lose, but I seem to think we have a very high Win-Loss record in the yellow and blue over these last 2 seasons. Too lazy to go back and look though.

I can say that the shecocks are a team that will be a tough out in the playoffs. And it pains me to say that. I still say we own them if it comes down to it but....

Not if we give Gurley 25 caries plus! haha
The question is will they? or will McVay more specifically?

I see the Following:
#5 Seattle beating #4 Cowboys.
Seattle will go into Texas and take out the Cowboys. No Question in my mind.
Seattle is a Nightmare matchup for the Cowboys. Cowboys would be hard pressed to score 10 pts vs the Seattle defense. Wilson is the type of QB that can take advantage of the Cowboys Defense.

#6 Eagles beating #3 Chicago
The Bears should beat Minnesota next week. Which gets the Eagles in as the #6 seed. The Eagles Oline, and WR's are healthy and so is Foles. The Eagles backup DB's have settled in to their scheme and are starting to play well. Trubinsky is in my book a very bad passer. The Eagles Defense will eat him alive.

Divisional Round:

#6 Eagles at #1 Saints
#5 Seattle at #2 Rams

Unfortunately for Seattle, The Rams match up well with them. They don't have the Interior pass rush to take advantage of Sullivan who is our only weak link on Oline. Conversely, Russell Wilson is more comfortable running around scrambling but our greatest Strength is Aaron Donald who always Terrorizes Wilson due to Donald's Quickness that more times than not catches up to Wilson in the backfield for huge losses and sacks.

Gurley also runs well against Seattle.

Though Seattle runs for big totals vs the Rams they are usually stifled in the red zone and on third down due to their inability to pass on the Rams, especially with Talib back now.

Can the Eagles beat the Saints in New Orleans. I don't know. If the Saints Offense continues to sputter without LT Armstead, the Rams may be hosting a Championship game in L.A. vs the Eagles.

The hawks gave us everything they could throw at us in our 2 games this they left their body and hearts and souls on the turf against us ... and it still wasn’t enough

We beat em twice and we will do it one more time

If you're wrong, I'm going to die. We cannot let those losers AND their fans haunt us for year(s) to come about them removing us from the playoffs. That would be catastrophic.

Maybe but I have a hard time seeing the Bears lose at home. They're much better at Soldier Field and that crowd is gonna be pumped.

IMO the Bears @ Rams is a playoff game of destiny as long as the Rams wrap that second seed tomorrow. Given that, the 3 seed will play the 2 in round 2. If someone knocks them off I'll be pretty happy about it.

This actually raises a serious question of whether McVay is prepared to entertain a strategy other than just throwing the ball as his go to play calling. Would love to see some serious giving the ball to Gurley or CJ at appriopriate points in the game (such as to start with). Physicality, balance, less predictabilty, letting the oline and offense get untracked. Then throw it downfield.

To be fair seems mcvays hands (or maybe feet ) were tied with the run game considering Todd’s injury against Chicago come playoff with a healthy back in CJ or Todd might be a different story

If we draw the Bears I’ll be glad it’s not in the cold of Chicago like in 1985. I’m also glad it’s not the ‘85 Bears team. Lol. Hopefully we have a better playoff showing than last year and get our first playoff win under our belt with McVay.

You know I feel CJ is going to be a monster part of this team. I like his North/South play and his tough “bowling ball” build and hard-nosed determination. He seems eager to pick up blocks in pass protection.

I think CJ completes this team. He had me at “hello.”

I was flippin living in Chicago in January 1986 (playoffs). I was 18 years old.
I was of course a full blooded Rams Fan.
It was terrible to watch. Dickerson was not effective that game.

This this the truth, I hate the shecocks almost as much as the Whiners and living in the NW is painful. BC, Canada adopted them as their team. They are the worst, uneducated fans ever!!! I would say 1/4 of their season tix's are owned by BC folks

But they can win w/ owning the clock via run game, and Wilson doing his thang. Their D is getting better too. And our run D scares the F out of me once the real season begins!
If they get lucky w/ winning the turnover battle plus Wilson they can win vs. any team.

I need someone to dick punch me now after typing this!

Yes, terribly disappointing game. It still hurts thinking about it.

I think we saw exactly that today with CJ. Credit to McVay for giving him the ball. Today we ran first, then threw the ball. Look at the results... hope we continue this approach in the playoffs, next time with Gurley and CJ.
