It’s like when you show up to work 1 minute before start time. Technically made it but the boss comments “ you are pushing it buddy”..
What delay? He signed before camp?

95% of rookies are signed (259 of 274 picks).
Yea we are aware of the 2nd round issue this year… still not a great look for a rookie.
You taking it too serious SoMan.WTF - dude !!! At what point did Terrance Ferguson do anything WRONG??
The Freaking Rams website isn’t even updated!! Talk about someone who is getting PAID & not even showing up to WORK !!
When you go to work events & VOLUNTEER .When you GO TO WORK & AREN’T getting PAID!!
Dude I’m just going to CHILL the
F”Out right now.
What I’ll say is T. Ferg 18 is a solid Ram Player who has gone ABOVE & BEYOND!! In FACT has RISK his CAREER already for The Rams without having signed a contract & or even been asked to show up for training camp yet.
The NFL is a business like no other, they take advantage of the circumstances that are set by rules that are boarder line FREAKING BS!
I’ll keep chill and just say The Rams just signed a good kid with GREAT HANDS & will dedicate himself myself to being successful.
Texas Ram you should embrace this young man & know there is a process.
I guess a question to you would be your thoughts on The Rams & Stafford last season? Then again even this offseason?
We can go deeper into it as well.
He's been at every ota and been participating with all team activities. He's given an excellent look for a rookie. Not sure what there is to complain about. It’s like when you show up to work 1 minute before start time. Technically made it but the boss comments “ you are pushing it buddy”.

Maybe I should have added a smily face or two.
If I saw Ferg at camp I’d give him shit with a smile on my face and say “you stressing me out with that signing bro. Now you gotta make up for it and prove your worth all that money Rook!”
He would laugh it off and reply “I got you Bro!”

It was only an issue to fans looking for something to worry about. It’s like when you show up to work 1 minute before start time. Technically made it but the boss comments “ you are pushing it buddy”.

Sorry I remember years ago people said that when they having their run under Rich Brooks back in 1994 and Dan Foutes came out and replied: "It's the fighting Ducks." Quite frankly IMO if I was a football player today Oregon would be on my short list.Hey!![]()
Good points, his 10 yard split was 1.53, which is a good time. Interesting that he did not participate in the cone drill or the 20 yard shuttle. You might be onto something there also did not bench press.Yeah I ran through an analysis paralysis with other members on his speed after the draft.
Suffice it to say that speed and acceleration aren’t the same. He looks slow off the line to me. He’s also a strider, which isn’t a bad thing. Once up to full speed he can move deceptively fast.
Rams using him as a slot weapon, not as an inline blocker, eliminates a couple of his biggest weaknesses. He's probably looking at around a third of the slot snaps, or thereabouts, with room to grow or shrink depending on how he plays.Weaknesses
- Leans way out past his toes as a run blocker.
- Plays with some passivity when fitting up blocks.
- Ambles into routes with heavy steps.
- Disappointing contested-catch rate for a player his size.
- Lacks foot quickness to elude initial tackler after catch.
I'd give someone's left nut if he could reach Greg Olsen levels.I don’t see any chance of Elite TE but I can see Fergie reaching Greg Olsen level.
His hands and smarts might really help him, two things Gerald Everett lacked at times.
Also and for the record I don't think he's a future slot weapon type TE. I think he is Higs' replacement but they are just starting him out so that he can contribute and give Stafford another security blanket over the middle.Rams using him as a slot weapon, not as an inline blocker, eliminates a couple of his biggest weaknesses. Primary push in camp will be making sure he knows the scheme and improving his route running.
WTF - is anybody asking him to replace Tyler Higbee? I don’t know.A dynamic receiving threat from the TE spot would be exciting, but he won’t be replacing Higbee until he learns to block.
They thought Hopkins was that guy and we all know how that worked outIMO this is the first time with The Rams. Mcvay has a TE who is that weapon as he used to say
