It’s possible to win the SB with your qb not being the focal point of your offense but it hasn’t happened for a while. Purdy is inexperienced with some limitations that have shown up the last few weeks.
Having a guy who can put the team on his back is a great thing to have, remember Stafford saving the game against the Bucs when everything was falling apart and again in the SB? Can Purdy be that guy?
 
What has hurt Purdy is the shitter defense giving up 24ppg over the past 3 games. That means the run game patience is not there and he must step up and play outside the perfectly balanced conditions Shanny can create when his defense is dominant.

Nobody talking about the shitter defense but hopefully their issues continue. And either way this kid will come up short in the playoffs because there will be teams that can stop that run game and put everything on the QB.
