None of us know Gurley.
He may be a stand up guy or he may be a scumbag, we don't know.
He may be, like most people, a mix.
What we do know is he hasn't been right from about 3/4 mark of the season on.

Disagree fearsome. AB is clearly a d-bag who only cares about himself. We have a pretty good idea who TG is based on how he supports his teammates, interviews, and goes about his business. Cheers man. (y)

I see nothing wrong in calling out those who deserve it. If, in your line of work, you put together a career day where people actually paid to go to it based on popularity of an associate, and he didn't show up forcing you to refund their money... Calling it what it was is no bitch move. IMO.
We do have empirical evidence of Talibs behavior, as he just provided. We do NOT know about Gurley.

Is this the kind of world we want to live in, where we play out everything in social media? And why are you believing Talibs version of events at face value?

He called out some peers which to me is no big deal. And I never said I believe his version of events. I simply don't think it's a big deal that he called out some other dudes.

I even said Gurley is a standup dude. Not sure why all this is even a big deal.

I’m not upset with you Merlin. Just asking for a clarification.

Like I said, I don’t see it as a big deal....as long as it doesn’t destroy our locker room culture. Then it is a big deal.

I trust our brass to be proactive.

Having said that, a related story: my former cousin-in-law won the NIT basketball tournament in 1983 with Fresno State. It was quite a feat for them.

Ty and a couple teammates (including future Chicago Bull Rod Higgins) held a kids basketball camp every year at Fresno State. Rod had developed a friendship with young Michael Jordan when he was drafted by the Bulls a year later, and a loyalty developed.

Being from Fresno I remember that season well. I feel if the Bulldogs woulda got in the NCAA tournament they woulda gone deep. They were one of the hottest teams in college at that time. Ron Anderson and Bernard Thompson were probably the best pair of bookend forwards in college basketball that year. Tyrone Bradley was playing well at the point. Mitch Arnold was becoming deadly from long range. Boyd Grant was a great coach back then.

A really good team playing well down the stretch. They just didn't win enough in the early part of the season and lost a tough game to Jerry Tarkanian and UNLV in the conference championship game. Had to settle for the NIT. I went to the first game in Fresno against UTEP. Good times. Its crazy that I can remember all of that but I can't remember where I left the remote. o_O

I don't think it's a big huge deal, but it wasn't the right thing to do either.

Being punked by a team mate may not go over well with Gurley

We might have a good idea about he conducts himself with the press, that's about it.
That said, I tend to agree with your assessment of him.
More than likely a solid guy.
