Can't recall a SB where I was not rooting for either team. Eventually settled on Seattle (the enemy of my enemy is my friend). Glad they both played shitty/incompetent to some degree. Some good D on both sides though. Thinking while watching, probably like many here - "if the Rams were in this they'd be balling out".

Two years in a row we were probably at least the 2nd best team but didn't get to the show. Excited for next year.

It was actually a close game for 3 quarters..... Well closer than it should have been.

The Patriots kinda looked like the Rams in Super Bowl LIII appearance against the Patriots (but not nearly as bad)... Basically a young QB and coach not up for the moment.

As bad as the Pats looked, it wasn't nearly as bad as watching Goff and McVay's confusion during their first Super Bowl appearance..... To me that was the worst Super Bowl I watched.

Hopefully the Rams will figure a few more things out because it's not gonna be easy next season, especially if the niners are at full strength.
Yeah ...... and they've got Raheem Morris as DC now, too.
More soft coverage schemes will make a big difference as well.
Actually, I wonder whether Morris will play a more aggressive D scheme, due to Shanny"s preferences, or will it mirror more of what we've seen in the past from him?

The Rams won a Super bowl with Raheem as DC.

On the scoreboard, not on the field.

The Pats were on pace for a historically awful Offensive and most eespecially QB performance in a Super Bowl before figuring some things out in the 4Q.

There was never a point, except maybe right before kick-off that anybody could have thought they might find a way to win.

Ya maybe, but all it would have taken was a couple of bone head plays by Donald.

I preferred both teams to lose.

I had to go with the Seahawks:

Basically watching two players (Kupp and Donald) being discarded like trash from their previous teams winning the Super bowl and a female owner holding the trophy was what I was hoping for.... Well at least from the football side of it.

Glad that pervert boy Craft didn't get another one.

The Super Bowl (for me) had almost everything I could ask for from pregame, halftime to post game: Only thing missing were the blue and gold jerseys on the field :crying:

Testing your understanding..

So our beloved Puka Nacua was born on May 29, 2001. His mother is of Samoan and German descent, and his father was of Hawaiian and Portuguese descent.

Bad Bunny was born in Puerto Rico to 2 Puerto Rican parents.

Are both not Americans?

It's an odd time we are currently living in:

But it was nice to see my kids and my sweeter half kids enjoy the Super Bowl and their wives / girlfriends / boy friends, and the only reason they tuned in to the Super Bowl was because of Bad Bunny...

I grew up in a time as a kid (1970's) where American culture was predominately white culture. My parents didn't allow us to speak Spanish, Portuguese or French outside of our house.... Had to be English.

My parents could see the demographics change as more Blacks, Latinos and Japanese folks started to move into La Puente neighborhoods, and all the white folks sold their homes and moved east or to Hacienda Heights. I remember the last white neighbors we had were telling my parents that La Puente was turning into a ghetto and they were selling their house. By the time we were in junior high all of our neighbors were mostly Latinos, Blacks and Japanese.

It was sad as most of our friends were white in the 70's and they were great friends and were all disappearing from our lives, but it opened the door to be able to celebrate our roots / culture more openly.... And in high school we took French and Spanish and that was a easy A+.... lol.

I guess our ideas of family entertainment are different.

I prefer people that can actually write songs, sing and play instruments.

I know it was only 10 votes but I'm really disappointed to see that 42% of those 10 posters on here wanted the cheating Patriots to win.

That hurts.
