I think he would have gone for 2. Normally you wouldn't in a preseason game.. but why not?

It's kind of taboo to extend a preseason game, so I don't know.

I doubt it, if 7 would have tied it he would have gone for 2, but since 8 would have tied it I think he just takes the PAT and gets everyone out there. No need to risk injury there.

However if they converted their first 2 point conversion, I think he would have again.

Heck no, you don't take a preseason to OT. That's part of the reason why he went for 2 on the other TD.

Slursar probably would've bashed Fisher for not caring about the win though, lol. What a joke.

Idk...maybe..and at that point your looking at 3 n 4th string players...why not get as extended a look as possible.

Exactly what I was thinking about it. Even if it's just a few more reps.

That's a good point. I just wonder what the backlash would be if somebody got injured during overtime.
Rams OR Browns players.

I think he should have went for 1 the first time, then two the second time to win it.

ALSO, I think there should be no overtime in the preseason. Just let em tie if need be. Maybe that should be looked into as far as a rules change.

is there OT in preseason?
In preseason and regular season games there shall be a maximum of 15 minutes of sudden death with two time outs instead of three. General provisions that apply for the fourth quarter will prevail. Try not attempted if touchdown scored. If there is no score in the 15 minutes, the game shall end in a tie.

(on if he would have gone for two at the end of regulation)
“Yes, of course. You play these games to try to win and two points at least gets you into overtime, and you get to keep playing your young players.”
