There better be some adjustments on defense after the half because this shit ain't gonna cut it. Not impressed. Tackling is weak and the only guys that seem to be doing anything are AD JJ Ramsey and Hill.

We got picked apart by Dakota fuckin’ Prescott. A guy with no offensive line and one good tight end. Meanwhile, Staley doing everything he possibly can to make it easier for them.

Ok. My biggest takeaway from the first half, was there were no takeaways!

Count me among those that don't like what we see with Staley's defense. Too much zone when you have man coverage CBs. Plays SeBas too much they ran right through him at the beginning of the game. Too many backups playing too many snaps. They are indoors in the evening so it's not the heat. Wish I had game pass to break it down better.

I hate these games we get into where we march up and down the field eating yards and kicking field goals.

Then the other team scores a TD and it’s freaking tied

Accept now it's not a sure 3 PTS which makes it even scarier.

Ramsey gets paid and they have him playing 10 yards off the receiver. Wtf kind of bs is that? Defense is absolute trash
I noticed that on the Cowboys very first offensive play from scrimmage he was giving Cooper or was it Gallop a huge cushion for 8 yard gain

I don't even think it's scheme, we just don't have the horses up front, esp. if this is their backup OL.

Well that half ending stunk, hopefully we do better the next 1.

Not sure what people were expecting on D. We lost very good players in Fowler and Littleton and did not replace them with equal or better contributors. Robinson at least had me helpful for the run D, but sadly he's unavailable for the foreseeable future. I would argue our defensive coordinator also got worse, but at the same time, it was time to move on from Phillips.

Still plenty of football left to be played both tonight and in 2020! Hopefully the team can improve! Dallas has a strong roster too - don't discredit the opponent.

It's the first half of the first game of the season, I'm betting that once our D gets an idea of what opposing offenses are doing we'll tighten up.
I don’t think it takes a genius defensive coordinator to see that if you give an opposing team’s wide receivers a 10 yard cushion every play, they’re going to throw it there with success 90% of the time.

On offense, some of our old RZ issues. We settle for too many FGs. Why not some end zone shots, or using the TE more in the red zone? Maybe we can't run the ball well enough to be a dominant RZ team, but we could have had 28 points in that half and only got 13.

Defense looks - like many of you have said - soft. Ramsey not exactly looking like a game changer, and our LBs and safeties aren't getting it done. Dak is on pace for almost 400 yards. Secondary isn't that much changed from last year. Are we missing Littleton and Fowler that much? Hopefully this isn't indicative of Staley's schemes.
