Silver linings?
Last night was Matthew Stafford's highest yardage total EVER as a Ram. 389 yards, 3 TD's, zero INT.
And running game hummed along at over 5 yards a carry (Kyren and Corum combined for 15 carries for 78 yards).
So to my eye, the offense looks efficient and with a ton of weapons and potential.
Kyren's fumble? Corum's fumble? Shula unable to counter the 49er short passing game? Blackburn unable to coach blocking? IMO Shula and Blackburn deserve more blame than McVay last night.
Both the offense and defense have all the tools they need. And ST will be okay as long as Blackburn can prevent blocked kicks. Yes, last night was shitty and disappointing, but I think the Rams will bounce back and remain in the thick of the playoff chase.
