You know, nobody should think its over, but the rams pissed the easest road to the SB away. So nobody wants to here calm down.
I mean HF would have been huge. Now it’s hoping others lose to have a shot at it. Unless we playing on the road in Tampa or some other warm place our odds are not good.

That wasn’t the conversation.

But since we’re on it.
Mevis missing that FG was a factor.
We aren’t even playing in OT if it’s made.
I’m not blaming Mevis, but if the Kick is good, we would have won.
I understand. My point was that you can look at every play and say that. A missed 3rd down, a dropped pass, a FG instead of a TD.......each of those is ultimately responsible for the loss.

If SF wins out they win the division. Soooo fuck that.
We will beat both of those teams if we see them in the playoffs.

In fact, I don’t think there is a better team than we are in the conference.
Seattle, SF, GB, Chicago, Det, Philly?

I guarantee, we are the team that none of them want to play.

Special team cost us, which is no surprise to any loyal fan.
I just get a chuckle out of some of you guys laying blame on McVay as Monday Morning Quarterbacks. We ran it all game long and after 3 consecutive 3 and outs, it's wtf was coach thinking....after the result, because we continued trying to run. Our QB threw for over 450. We scored 37. Blame special teams, the defensive players on the 3rd and long conversion late in the first half (running play for C-sake), or tip your hat to the other team, G-forbid.
We came off of a huge win on Saturday, on a short week, when our HC tried to celebrate the birth of his kid at 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
If you can't appreciate the time and place we are in as Rams fans, find another team. We've got, imo, the best combination of owner, GM, and coach in professional sports. A team full of high-character dudes led by wonderful men. We lost a game to a 11-3 team at their place in OT by one point.
We're fine.

That last sentence sounds good until you say we had a 30-14 lead in the 4th quarter and got out scores 24-7.

Rams pass defense is a problem which could keep the Rams from the Super Bowl. This must be giving Shula fits trying to decide when to blitz. They get burned for big yardage if they blitz but still can't cover downfield.

We are in the playoffs. Facing Seattle in the playoffs having beaten them twice is hard because you rarely beat a team 3 times in a season. We can still with the division. Lot's of ball left. If we win the last two we are 13-4. Not bad.
It would have been at home at least. Now we would face them in Seattle again after just choking one away.
