I don't recall Jordon ever playing all five positions on the court (as a freakin rookie in the finals - no less) OR taking his team to an NBA championship as a rookie OR being able to lead his team in whatever category they needed from him on any given night. Need assists? Need rebounds? Need points? 3 times more playoff triple doubles than anyone in history. High School Champion, NCAA Champion, NBA Champion, Olympic Champion - just plain CHAMPION. The dude even beat AIDS.
And bye the way - the guy has made more money outside of basketball as a businessman than he ever made from basketball - including endorsements while playing.
Jordon was the best shooting guard to ever play the game. Magic was the best basketball player to ever play the game - period.
